this is a graph taken from a normal distributed, randomly generated data using the inverse and function with rnd() on excel

someone tell me how to make that, with 0 variance?
and how to make a graph of a skewed distribution?

I tried excel, problem is:

how would I graph a perfect normal curve and a perfect skewed distribution on excel and have the
ability to comment on the graph as i wish?

Are you sure you can't Google some pictures and paste them into whatever presentation software you're using?

Yeah, miscrosoft excel should do the job. one column with the x numbers, the next column with the y numbers, select them, right click, make graph or something similar :p adding text and stuff shouldn't be much of a problem if you have a little experience with pc software

If you can get your hands on Origin, it's a more powerful program, specifically for making graphs, and a bit easier to use as well. But if you have excel already (which you probably do) give it a shot over there first, you shouldn't have that much trouble.

I'm all about the SPSS, but that's only because the school bought me a license for it. Excel is the way to go otherwise though, should be able to handle anything you need from it

and I know how to graph on excel. but how do I graph 2 perfect normal curves?????????

thanks, if you could make that with a normal distribution and skewed distribution, that would be nice.

I use this basic program for simple graphs. Allows graphing functions (which probably is what you're looking for).

http://www.padowan.dk/graph/

Give him a break about excel. Takes time to learn how to use it properly, and doesn't allow graphing pure functions without input data as far as I know. While there are ways of generating these data columns, they still take time and effort to learn how to do.

use excel or open office spreadsheet software.
simply generate a your x values and then put them in the Gaussian and if you want a slightly skewed graph, do some randomization... ez pz....

look you guys must think I'm retarded. I know how to graph using excel. I know how to generate numbers, and I can generated data from a normal distribution.

BUT ITS NOT PERFECT
