Senior year of high school I was in a pretty serious relationship... well, for high school at least. When I scheduled for classes I wanted to take some with her. We had band but couldn't find any other to get due to our different academic paths. However, I thought I loved her. So I rearranged my schedule and dropped my 3 AP classes from my schedule just so we had a study hall together. We would get a permanent pass to go to the band room, which wasn't used that hour, and fool around.... for about 2 months before we broke up.

Net result: blue balls for the remaining couple of months in study hall with her and about 3-4 grand I could have saved myself in college.

Topic: In retrospect, what horrible decisions have you made that even at the time you should have known were bad ideas? Try to make a human sling shot? Play William Tell and kill your best friend? Skinny dipping in winter and catch hypothermia?
