I'd rather kill ON. A fake-claim is a fake-claim. heist's slip has the potentiality to have been a mistake, as I don't think I've ever seen a 12 person game with a number other than 3 mafia. That said, heist still looks kind've scummy, but I'd rather lynch the guy blatantly lying, than the guy who "slipped". They should maybe both claim a trait in thread, so that potential Detectives can check them with their actions tonight. They can't lie again, because they'll just get counter-claimed. Also, if they're town, mafia hitting them would almost be a favour, because then they clear out scummy people and we don't waste time on them. The only drawback, is mafia could avoid shooting them, and then their pool for town players would be much reduced. Depends on if people think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.

Also, what was the time difference between the PMs with Bum, and the PMs with Palmar?

Sure I am, and so is one of wiggles, BrownBear and Bum, oh and so are heist and ON. You know its a pretty effective way to play, accuse *everyone* of being mafia, that way you are *guaranteed* to get something right.

I'll claim to you if ON flips red, but not a moment before I see that flip, and if you have a problem with it then too bad. I'll repeat in case some idiot hasn't grasped it yet, Palmar isn't confirmed until we see some flips, and anyone claiming to him is risking leaking information to the mafia.

By the way did you check the hostmarks for heist? did they match up?

They did not, the "fake" had host mask hidden; we were still suspicious because the "real heist" appeared mere 7 minutes after the "fake" one left, and there were other coincidences, but we found some older logs where heist says he is an irc newbie, so he probably wouldn't have known how to do it.
