The children were out playing, the teens were at beaches tanning, and parents were getting ready to finish up at work. It was summer. And the soft mix of white and blue in the sky smiled upon the tranquil town. To the ordinary observer, all seemed well. But down at the TLPD – that’s Town Liquifield Police Department – trouble was brewing. They were getting ready to make their move on the Waterfront. The Waterfront wasn’t just a district of the town. As far as straight cops went, it was a warzone. The mafia controlled everything that went down there. The Godfather was in charge. And nobody touched the Godfather. After years of waiting, of biding their time, the TLPD got wind of some good news. Rumor had it that the Godfather was dying. Soon. He was old, sick, and the mafia would be fighting over who would be the one to take over. It was the perfect opportunity for the TLPD to get rid of the mafia once and for all. And in the TLPD, you don’t waste perfect opportunities. Incognito was an old Detective in the Force. He’d been there for a good 25 years. He had locked up a lot of criminals, and he had made a lot of enemies. He was also in charge of the team striking the Waterfront that night. As he parked his car just outside the district, he got out his radio. “Is everyone in position?” “Yes, sir,” was the response from his second-in-command, flamewheel. He nodded to the officers nearby. “You all know what to do. Move out.” Just then, Incognito’s close friend arrived on the scene. As Qatol the Laywer stepped out of his car, their eyes met. Something was up. Qatol started walking toward a warehouse, motioning to Incognito and flamewheel to follow him. “Well? Do we have the Godfather yet?” “Not yet. Shouldn’t be much longer though.” Incognito glanced around the building, checking if anyone else was there with them. “Good.” Qatol set his briefcase down on table. “Have you heard the rumors about a rat in your team, Detective?” “The what?” “The rat, Detective. The Godfather’s inside man.” “Well, do we have any idea who it is?” flamewheel, who had been quiet this whole time, exchanged glances with Qatol. flamewheel cleared his throat. “You could say that.” And with that, he pulled out his gun and shot Incognito right in the chest. Qatol gave flamewheel a hard look. “Now, then. We had a deal. Where’s the money?” “Ah. That small matter,” flamewheel smiled. “The Godfather has instructed that I give you exactly what you deserve for your services. You’ll find it waiting for you in your car.” “Thank you. I look forward to never seeing you again.” flamewheel nodded. “I don’t think you’ll need to worry about that,” he said, turning and walking away. He checked his watch. 3… 2… 1… He laughed to himself as a car exploded in the background and Qatol disappeared from this world. From the heavens, someone watched and looked at their own watch. 3… 2… 1… Lightning struck, and flamewheel died. -- Elsewhere, DarthThienAn looked into the eyes of a young man. The man who he had chosen to succeed him, despite the complaints of the family. The man who would continue his legacy. “Rise, my friend.” The young man rose. “The Ultimate Weapon will be completed on schedule.” “You’ve done well, my apprentice. And now I sense you wish to continue your search for your own apprentice.” “Yes, my Master.” “Patience, my friend. In time, he will seek *you* out, and when he does, you must bring him before me. He has grown strong. Only together can we turn him to the Dark Side of the Town. “As you wish.” “Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen.” DarthThienAn smiled a treacherous smile. Yes... everything was going accordingly to plan. But there was one thing that he could not account for. One thing he could not foresee. In that moment, his apprentice – the heir or his empire – pulled out a gun, and ended his life. DarthThienAn was no more. Incognito the Detective is now dead. Qatol the Lawyer is now dead. flamewheel the Mafia/Traitor is now dead. DarthThienAn the Godfather is now dead. The game has *officially* begun. BrowneY ok, from this, here are who I have determined would be possible recruits: Chezinu, BrownBear, YellowInk, citi.zen, L, Hesmyrr, Korynne , AcrossFiveJulys. I would add myself, but I know I wasn't recruited. So, we should lynch one of these people. I will put them into categories of "highly likely", "moderately likely", or "minimally likely" to be recruited and you all can do what you will with the information I share. Highly Likely: L - Everyone knows he is possibly the best player on the site. I would recruit him night 1. Citi.zen - If I didn't recruit L, I would recruit citi.zen. He is a solid poster, and has experience as scum. Chezinu - As seen 2 games ago, he can be a crafty mafioso. He is also known to disrupt the town's flow, so he would be of a benefit regardless and could be written off as a VI and not lynched. He, while doing this, is actually a very smart and crafty player who is highly intelligent. Moderately Likely: Korynne - rising up and comer... might be recruited because it's a girl. She also had a really good game as scum in the first game I ever hosted, in which RoL went AWOL on her and she had to best like 7 people... possible scum recruit. YellowInk - up and coming superstar. very recruitable even as a townie. BrownBear - Guy typically makes good posts and ends up in end game scenarios... good chance of him having a blue role if the roles aren't random, as he's a good medic imo. Fairly sure that darth thien an wasn't lying about it being random, though. Minimally likely: A5J - A smart player, but his name might not be out there enough to warrant a day 1 recruitment over a player like L. Hesmyrr - The guy simply has good posts. I would recruit him night 2 or 3, unless I felt like he drew a townie role. I'm not sure if people know how good he is, though, or i'd put him in the top 2 groups. I don't want to lynch L, even if he tops my list. He's too valuable if he isn't mafia. We would really be benefited through having him on our side. I'd say we judge how the people i've listed act. One of them likely was just recruited. | ||

I wouldn't put Chez up there, he seems disruptive to town regardless of being mafia or not. Me and YInk are kinda the same flavour, except I've been around a tad longer and I have boobs (sort of, minus some for being asian) and a vagina. I personally put BrownBear down with A5J and Hesmyrr, he's not quite as active as I'd like him to be, whereas me and YInk post a lot more I think. | ||

As mod of this game, I hereby allow myself to spam this thread whenever I feel necessary, for entertainment value because I feel, despite this game being 70% about the game, it's also 30% about having fun. So, bolded part = 10/10 | ||
