As long as the DT can be swayed by one family they will have an edge over the other one. And because the town wants to find and kill all mafia, they 1) use medics to protect DT and 2) carefully watch who else is feeding DT information. | ||

Althought... personally DT should have some tidbit of vital information before claiming. Also, this is kind of important, do we know how many DT's we have in total, as this makes it much easier? | ||

My thoughts: Detectives get killed instantly when it's town vs ONE mafia. When there are two mafias, DT's are at least as useful to the mafia as they are to the town, if they can convince a DT to tell them who is in the other mafia family. Therefore, DT's claiming, while it may not be the smartest thing to do, depending on the situation, is by no means suicidal to the DT. | ||

in the day 1 clue analysis it mentions the moon 4 times and moonlight once, so a total of FIVE TIMES! how is that not clue analysis on him? and in terms of behavioral analysis, he has defended redtooth and ace BOTH. | ||

Hi there, from your posts it's pretty clear to me that you are a blue role. Most likely a DT or medic. You should probably quit hinting at it so much. You don't need to necessarily trust me yet and tell me what you really are. My innocence will become apparent with time and once it is clear I'll be waiting for you to contact me. Let's hope I don't die tonight ^_^ i'm not sure how i feel about DTs public roleclaiming yet. don't really have an adamant stance. logically it makes sense that DTs can roleclaim and mafia wouldn't take them out but it could backfire sosososo quickly. for now i'm protecting Chezinu (who for now i believe is real DT) so nothing goes wrong and because i don't see anybody else that is a potential mafia target and isn't suspicious. for me the paradox in this game is that if they are worth protecting you probably shouldn't protect them. if mafia want to kill someone, that someone is probably mafia so i shouldn't protect. if a person is a known townie or even blue, i should protect them but mafia probably won't hit them. that's why the DT roleclaiming thing is so confusing - do the mafia want to kill blues or not. also, now that i'm in office a shootout is going to be much much harder for mafias because medics basically have to be dead for a mafia family to be wiped out and i sorta can't die  . unless you guys lynch me of course... | ||
