After the US trade embargo, people started spreading Cuban seeds around Latin America, creating unique high-quality crops. Major Cuban manufacturers also started new brands in different countries, so they'd be able to sell to the giant American market. Today, some of the best tobacco is grown all around the world.
There's nothing unusual or illicit about Cuban cigars. They've just been hailed as the best for a long time, but even that's been changing lately. They're also still illegal in the US (due to the trade embargo), and that adds to the allure.

What are the best brands available at generic convenience stores? I usually switch between Marlboro lights/Camel filters/Camel lights but I kinda hate them all. I stopped smoking Parliaments because they smell too much and burn too fast. American Spirits don't have much taste. Marlboro 27s are a bit too heavy and also smelly.

Get as many smoke in your mouth as you want and inhale it. Exhale at any given point, for me its 10 seconds or more. This gives you nicotine, but also kills you. (EVERYHING KILLS YOU)
B)
Get as many smoke in your lungs as you want, exhale it through your nose. Gives you a slight taste and nicotine.
C)
Get smoke in your mouth and exhale through your nose. Takes some practice and gives you the full flavor. No tar in your loungs but no nicotine either. Still tastes the best.
And for all of those 3 options, always smoke aware. Dont stand there and dream about the last night with your girlfriend/boyfriend while you smoke. Smoke actively and you get much more our of your cigarette.

Can we please stop flaming? There's a disclaimer on the first page. Most people get beat over the heads with the risks of tobacco smoking throughout their childhoods by parents, television, and in schools. People know there's a risk.
It's interesting that the tobacco thread is one of the only threads on TL where people can come and flame people for enjoying a certain activity. And god forbid they'd like to talk about it with like minded people in a public forum...
