This is, hands down, the best cigar for price on the market. It's sweet and creamy with a long finish. They're well made and reliable (and very affordable as cigars go). With a small cut, one of these things will smoke for up to 2 hours.

These are also one of my favourite cigars, along with

The whole Alec Bradley Tempus line is great; the first Tempus I smoked, I ended up smoking to the point that it was burning my fingers. Delicious

Bolivar Belicosos are the best cigars I have smoked. Incredibly creamy and smooth. Too bad they are corrospondingly expensive... I also always feel nervous buying pricy Cuban cigars since I've had some bad experiences with Cuban quality control (plugged cigars mainly).

Great fun smoking!

You really need to take a page out of Tyler's book. Actually just take the book.

I've never smoked a cigarette but hanging out with friends smoking the hookah is just a great time . Also it's legal which is nice, and if you work for somewhere that drug tests what else are you gonna do?

This site has a huge minor base.

An addiction to smoking unlike alcohol and cannibus is for a lot of people an unbreakable addiction.

Quiting smoking has been likened to heroin and meth for good reason.

Promoting "tasty" Tobacco products is a great thing to put forth in the world.

Dude, I remember when I was like you, uptight like a water buffalo's ass (waterproof) and never did any drugs.

Then I started doing drugs and suddenly I had a social life, started getting laid more, was much more reasonable about things, related better to people, was infinitely smarter, and enjoyed life.

I stopped doing most drugs and picked up cigs because you can still work and do cigs etc. And bitch, please, don't compare smoking to heroin and meth, you have NO FUCKING IDEA what you are talking about.

what drugs were you taking? sounds like it works some serious magic.
don't compare to heroin and meth? hmm, well maybe not the same high or the same killing blow, but similar withdrawals, which was exactly what the last poster correctly mentioned. and as someone who lives off doing research on these things, i think i have an idea what i'm talking about.

cool to have a thread like this. i mean smoking is a personal choice and most people are aware of what they get themselves into. but to spread crap like that? lmao.

Did u just compare heroin and meth Withdrawal to cig Withdrawal.. see I hate when people do this just to try and prove a point... Withdrawals are like standing at the gates of hell and I am being honest, I have gone through withdrawals I am not talking about cigs, i am talking about drugs... I have also gone through cig Withdrawal THEY ARE NOTHING TO COMPARE... don't u get that ppl kill over the fact they are going through Withdrawal from meth and heroin... PLEASE oh GOD do not say DUMB things like this...

yes i did. i can back up my facts with scientific data that you probably don't have access to based on my assumption of your character. of course the visible symptoms of withdraw differ between person to person and from drug to drug within these individuals. but the biology of withdrawal in the brain is similar to many degrees, which is exactly what i alluded to. how about you don't go spouting dumb uninformed things based on your own story (that could be made up).

i'm not trolling in here saying this thread shouldn't exist and what not, like i said these are personal choices that are made under the assumption that you know the risks of drug consumption. what's problematic is idiots like this guy trying to get other people to join them with false facts and personal accounts.

So your telling me this, in the brain there are similar nerves or sensors going off with withdrawals from cigs and from meth and herion? WELL NO SHIT... addiction in the brain is addiction, and I know I dont want to go into mass detail with this, I know different drugs attack different parts of the brain and in different ways. It doesn't matter. The fact is CIG / METH / SEX / what ever drug. THE PHYSICAL side of it is VERY different... thats the point I am making. I have never been sick for a month from not smoking, I have never had stomach / fever / throwing up / shivers / pain in every part of my body from not smoking. Its funny that people say " well I have access to these facts and that facts" till you have gone through them you have no idea. I am not saying OMG go buy some drugs, worst part of my life. I am just stating the fact is I have gone through both withdrawals and cigs are a walk in the park compared to real withdrawals. Also I work in the medical field, taking care of cancer patients I know what withdrawals are, I have helped many people go through them.
You can think im making this up thats fine i dont give a shit wat someone on TL forums thinks of me.

EDIT: this is my last reply on this, we are getting way off topic on what the OP is about... so no more.

Should be. Everyone of us should just shut the fuck up already about this.

---------------
If you don't like smoking or you are against it, then you dont/are. Don't come here to post shit about it to those who enjoy it. Everyone here should know that tobacco is killing and addictive stuff, you control your life, you choose what the fuck you are going to do with it.

Now please, lets just stay on the topic instead of getting a good thread locked.

Haven't smoked a cigar before, had plenty of blunts though.

When I do smoke it's almost always socially, but the cigarettes I have tried and prefer would be Camels, specifically Kamel Reds or Camel Turkish Golds if I'm looking for something lighter.

I also enjoy Nat Shermans, but don't smoke them a lot. Bali shag is also great when I have to have a rolled cig.

Anyone else a fan of the Camels?

I don't know whether to laugh at you, or feel sorry for you.

Are you really saying you took nicotine gum to get a slightly better performance in some ladder matches? You do realise this is a game right?

I think I smoked around 10 cigars, and I can appreciate the earthy, woody, creamy flavors that they offer. But I still prefer shisha (hookah). As far as I can tell, it's not nearly as addictive as cigarettes are, but some of the flavors are amazing and some can give you a killer buzz. I (now) almost exclusively smoke Tangiers.

Quick rundown on shisha brands (including only the ones I've smoked enough to know):

Nakhla
This is pretty much the cheapest shisha you can find. There are other noname brands that can compete on price, but Nakhla is actually good. It uses an "unwashed" tobacco, so it's got 0.5% nicotine (I think that's by mass). This makes it a pretty strong buzz for the average smoker. The mint and double apple are classic flavors, and Nakhla does them well. Most of the flavors don't have the candy-ish artificial flavors. It's pretty dry, so you won't get huge clouds of smoke, and too much heat will scorch your bowl faster. Made in Egypt, one of the oldest shisha tobacco brands. Possibly the single most popular brand in that region. (~$10 for 250g; ~1 hr/bowl)

Al Fakhir
Another brand that's been around for a long time. Al Fakhir uses washed tobacco, meaning that the smoke will be milder and give less of a buzz. (This isn't necessarily a bad thing; sometimes you just want to smoke alone for an hour and not drop dead.) This stuff is juicy as hell, which means clouds and clouds of smoke. It's also a bit more resistant to overheating, but you don't want to do that anyways. Overall the flavors are quite a bit sweeter than you'd expect, especially if you smoked Nakhla or Tangiers before. Girls seem to like this. Also, some of the flavors taste a bit artificial, like the grape. I really quite liked the spearmint gum flavor, though. The cost is a cut higher than Nakhla, but personally I don't quite see that it deserves a higher price point. (~$12 for 250g; ~1hr/bowl)

Starbuzz
Possibly the most popular brand in the states. This stuff is somewhat similar to Al Fakhir in that the flavors are overall quite sweet, but the tobacco tends to last a bit longer. They have a huge selection of flavors, something like 100. Most of them aren't really worth it, in my opinion (I've tried about 30 of them). The good ones are pretty good. The ones I don't like are usually because I think they're too sweet and a bit candy-ish. *Shrug* I think it's too expensive for its quality, but others disagree. (~$22 for 250g; ~1.5hr/bowl)

Tangiers
I'm not going to pretend otherwise; this is my favorite. Another American-made tobacco, it uses unwashed tobacco. There's nothing on the market that compares to the buzz this one will give you. Smoke it for a month, and you won't feel a buzz from anything else afterwards. The flavors used are synthesized stuff, but they're spot-on. The most artificial tasting flavor is "Green Apple Candy", but the name should tip you off on that one. There are about 15 flavors in the 100 or so lineup I don't particularly like, but even those have their fans. You have to spend some time maintaining this tobacco. You'll have to "acclimate" it, meaning that you'll have to let the stuff out for a few hours so it can reach equilibrium (in terms of humidity) with the air in your room. Otherwise, the flavoring compounds and nicotine will be released at different rates, making it taste pretty nasty. This is because this tobacco uses glycerin as its base, unlike pretty much every other brand which uses water. This gives Tangiers a really nice benefit, though: the bowls will last as long as you care to throw new coals on them. After about 2 hours, the flavor starts fading out but I've heard that some whackos will smoke a bowl for 6+ hours, and I imagine they mean that it's still producing smoke, not necessarily that it still tastes like anything. (~15 for 250g; 2+ hr/bowl)

Just interested if anyone know about this:

Yesterday I was given some really fucking expensive cigarettes here in China. One pack was 200 RMB while normal cigarettes are between 5-10 RMB. My friends who smokes them claims that it was like medicine or something. I assume this is bullshit but I wonder if anyone has ever heard of it?

Note: I'm sure it wasn't something else than just common cigarettes (aka weed etc).

How did it taste? Similar to weed? How did it look? Kinda hard to figure out if someone just claims it as a medicine. :-)

Is there any difference between Lights and Full Flavor Cigarettes ? My father is a heavy smoker and I don't really think that switching to lights will improve his shitty health.

In the very least, if you're going to smoke cigarettes start rolling your own. I don't know about other countries, but I do know that it is mandatory in the U.S. for manufacturers to use FSC. (Fire Safe Cigarettes). The chemicals in the papers are more detrimental to your health than tobacco could ever be.

Secondly, smokers are unconstitutionally discriminated against. If smoking is banned in public places, it should be made illegal...period HA! Government would lose too much money in tax on top of tax on top of tax.

Ask yourselves why government hasn't raised the price on pipe tobacco and cigars. It's because that's what the fat cats smoke.

Anyway, if you must smoke, please don't buy already made cigarettes. Obviously, WHO and EPA and SOS could care less about your health.

I wish more people were like you.

I had dinner with a old high school friend the other day. He father had a heart attack the week before and was barely holding on. Doctors said it was pretty much entirely do to smoking.

My parents stopped smoking in the past but have always started again. Yesterday we were all sitting down and I asked them if they could stop smoking. I'm 18 now and will be going to university for a while since I want to get a phd in a field of physics so I won't be able to make money for a while. I said I wanted them to stay healthy (not terribly physically active...) so that I can enjoy life with them once I'm done with school. I want them to meet my kids, I to go see the Soccer World Cup with my father which is something we've always dreamed of doing. I want them to see me accomplish something else then good test results so they can be proud of me and know they have been successful parents. I went on.

All they said was that it wasn't so easy.

However, I do want to share my appreciation of cigars. I went to cuba not long ago and brought back some good quality cigars and enjoyed them a lot. I've smoke cigarettes in the past but it's not for me, though I like the action of smoking (turned to occasional joints for that )

I have a half dozen pipes I like to smoke with, I find it very enjoyable to relax with what I have found to be perfect combinations between pipe and tobacco.

If anyone is into smoking pipe tobacco try these; Penzance - excellent cool creamy smoke, delicious subtle undertones. Squadran Leader - nutty taste that makes your mouth water if your thinking about it but not smoking it. Hearth and Home Classic Burley - a hotter smoking tobacco that makes choosing the right pipe very important, but once you do you get a very pleasant mocha/chocolaty taste from this tobacco. This is my daily smoker because it is dirt cheap compared to tinned tobaccos.

Let it be known that there is a difference between smoking cigs and being addicting and smoki g cigars and pipe tobacco if smoked properly. I smoke cigars and pipe tobacco and I'm in no way addicted. I could sto smoking when ever I feel like it. .

That being said, I am excited that I am going to purchase my own pipe this week! Found a some tobacco store near my girlfriends house. :D
