The point is, this is BM when hes on his best behavior. Still a dick, still spammy, and still fighting with people. I gave him plenty of chances and he blew them, and even before me he had a bunch of chances. Don't get me wrong, I rarely ever warn or mod kill people for any reason. I wouldn't ban or modkill someone just because I don't like them. I noted how his personality and stupidity are annoying in response to something else he said. While that annoyed me and perhaps even biased me against him slightly I was still the only person who let him play in my game and I was also the guy who said "I will just give him a warning" for the three previous infractions in my game even though many other hosts and players were PMing me asking why I wasn't taking action sooner. So while it may appear harsh, you have to fully understand the situation which I tried my best to explain to BM and in my first post in this thread which explained how I viewed his infractions as MINOR, but considering his probation I would leave it at the others discretion on what to do with him. | ||

Next, You are saying he is spamming in a game that allows no edits. Hence if he thinks of something that he should of said he can't edit it he has too write it again. But according to you he cant write it because that is spamming. Was he trying to add to his argument while making more posts. So basically it is a lose lose for him. One direction he gets modkilled the other direction he doesnt actually get to be part of the game and he gets lynched. This does not make sense. Next, You say there were previous infractions but you have not stated them. How could someone pass judgement with out knowing all the facts. What if these infractions are not true infractions what if they are opinions. The reason a thread where you talk about bans would work is if you had all of the facts. Lastly, you are saying that you made mistakes and then you start insulting him. Which is why he got banned. That seems a bit hypocritical. There are plenty of people who annoy me, but that's not why I would ban them. And no, he spat in my face when I said I wouldn't pursue a perm ban and then telling me he was going to attack my credibility, then proceeding to bitch about a ton of stuff, ignoring all the shit I did for him whether he realized it or not. No, he did stuff wrong. Spamming is REALLY bad. I should elaborate on why spamming is bad though. One reason is that once a game gets to 50 pages the "All" feature can't be used. That means analysis becomes harder. Another thing is that spam makes a thread REALLY unreadable and discourages activity. Inactivity is something we fight here all the time on TL Mafia because we constantly have to mod kill for it, so spam is one aspect of that. Another reason is because for anyone trying to do analysis it becomes even more difficult because of the amount of shit you have to wait through, which is similar to reason number two. In case you missed it before, he is the MAIN reason we initiated the anti spam policy. Consolidating posts isn't hard to do and you have to realize that not every post adds content to the game, when you are spamming you are detracting quality from the game which is bad. He isn't constantly adding thoughts and great ideas. Its generally maybe one longish post with 3 one liners and a "haha" or something. And I am aware he dedicated around 2 weeks into this game, but so did 20ish other players, and in future games the same could be said. So why would I risk having BM ruining this game or future games by not taking action now? So while he feels I am unjust it was more than lenient of us to give him another chance so soon. | ||

Also, on the days "I spammed" if you'll notice as in my above post, I was being badgered heftily. I fully expect a lot of the mods to be raising eyebrows. | ||
