Well, this is outcome B of the scenario I imagined: MooCow townie. Certainly we haven't lost anything significant, as I think most of us agree that deuce is a bored townie anyway and MooCow was a bad townie. What we do have is a list of people who were persuaded (by me and zeks, mostly) to vote for MooCow. We should start scraping for clues around this mess.

#679 Explanation for inactivity. Says clue analysis tells more than the actual clues. Claims that if we lose blue roles, we should start looking towards the elected roles as being guilty parties.

#737 Is against double lynch. Asks if PMs are different for a vet save vs a medic save.

#758 Says we should consider how organized the mafia are. How could we possibly know this? Tries to shunt attention off of deucegladlier by saying the rest of the mafia would stop him from being an idiot. Says he'd rather lynch a "middle of the pack" poster than someone who is inactive, even if the "middle of the pack" poster is a neutral figure.

Pretty much all zeks' recent posts have been centering around how we SHOULDN'T be targetting inactives, which flies in the face of what is apparently common Mafia knowledge that inactives are often Mafia themselves. After AFJ posts his analysis claiming MooCow is suspicious, he jumps on the bandwagon immediately and campaigns for MooCow to get lynched instead of deucegladlier. The entire time he's campaigning against MooCow, there's very little analysis of his own, despite his protestation of piggybacking/bandwagoning.

Combine this with fishy behavior earlier in the game+clues on both days connected to him (Shikamaru is a ninja who can throw knives as well as manipulate shadows).

If you ask AFJ I was with him from the start of the whole MooCow debacle. He provided the analysis, I provided the other justification and advantages of lynching him over deuce. I will state my thoughts about the whole voting process before all the night actions. I also think it would've been pretty redundant for me to analyze MooCow again after such a detailed analysis had been written by AFJ, which I found convincing.

I do take reponsibility for fucking up and hitting a green, but I don't regret getting Moo hung over deuce. I accept the fact that I'm much less credible now.

As for my post #915 - me arguing that the original bandwagon aren't mafia. It was not my intention to imply that although I do think AFJ is pro town. I was unimpressed by the fact that MooCow was just randomly pointing fingers at everyone mildly suspicious for the whole game. Once AFJ started attacking him he got all defensive which was what I found fishy. Also, to be honest I never would've thought we actually had a chance to lynch MooCow until the final 30 minutes and people started switching over - then the impossible happened.

I never knew it was common for Mafia to be inactive - I haven't personally gone through many Mafia games myself so I wouldn't know, but I would assume there would be a mix of active and inactive - and I still maintain that getting rid of the active ones is more important.

Flamewheel, I'm glad you have an actual penalty system set up for this beyond just getting killed in the game. It is infuriating.

I'm sorry to see MooCow go. He reminded me so much of going blindly into TL Mafia II. :p

Well that was quite the eventful vote. So much for me thinking that my vote switch would amount to nothing... Where does this put AFJ? no mafia could be stupid enough to try to convince the town to switch vote to a townie that obviously - unless he thinks that we will think that. I guess deuce is a much better lynch target now since we switched away from him and hit a townie. Is it too early to use a double lynch? - as in should we save them. I think this puts deuce and AFJ on the same side, whether it be townie or mafia, or at least deuce mafia if AFJ is mafia.
