RADFIELD JR. BEARIE: For the most hard-luck player
belongs to barth, who has now been killed night 1 in two games I've played in with him It's especially sad because he seems to be extremely excited about playing, but he just seems to attract night hits. Hopefully this won't continue in the future.
So if barth lives to day 2 in a game, we hang because he's mafia, right?

I used to play on a forum where a guy always got killed round 1. He always signed up, and always got killed round 1. And one game, he didn't get killed, and actually was a really productive citizen. Until the town couldn't find the last Mafia, which was him. He won the game singlehandedly.
He keeps signing up, and he keeps getting killed round 1, and hung round 1 when he doesn't get killed. Poor guy.

Seems like the easy counter strategy is medic protects him night one every time. If he was saved, he's town, if not, lynch him. Of course then mafia would not be so obvious... and the game evolves - resulting in this guy not getting killed in one round all the time (though admittedly will probably retain a short life expectancy).

ah, gg. hmm how do you guys think i could have defended myself from getting lynched?

Myself and gila didn't actually tust DTA implicitly the first night. Gila claimed to him as DT with me as his N1 check. Even on n3 I was really really really tempted to check Darth + the heavy breathing clue instead of zeks. I'm ashamed to say it but I let random.org pick for me >.<
I purposely made my posts as scummy as possible because I was DT. I wanted to be a terrible choice for maf to kill at night, and if I was an attempted lynch I could easily roleclaim with Darth to back me up.
Considering that now we had a medic, 2 DTs and a clear townie inside our circle, Darth was pretty much screwed. I understand why he resigned.

Honestly darth and crate palyed fabulously. I felt bad because I knew if I tried to take positive happy go lucky attitude, I was bound to snap. I wish I took more of a role in who we killed, because thats the only place I think crate and darth fell short. Hitting MTF twice :/ then killing you last BG and pardoner? I gess I kinda assumed darth had his reasons.
Thing that murdered us was just lack of effort from 3lions and hugo. Oni did his best and i thought we had a shoe in from darth and crates acceptance. Really wanted to fake a dt to yellow but by that time oni was being lynched and hugo and lions were mia ![](/mirror/smilies/frown.gif)
I wasnt trying to backstab darth, i was just attempting to clear his name when i got lynched. GG fellas hope i didnt hurt any feelings >:D

Awww, I have a Bearie named after me. xD I definitely liked watching YellowInk play, it was like seeing myself play. =D
I request that you present Bearies in all games I mod. =D

No, he was killed early because he was really good. Heh. Oh, and there was no medic.

Well done, sir! You act like him getting pardoner was a bad thing. Last time I checked Pardoner is stronger for the mafia than mayor is. 1. Less scrutiny and 2. really powerful ability late game. So the town getting to deny the mafia that role is really important.

Very true, I didn't mean to give off that impression. It was more meant as a lament that his campaign drew him a bit of undeserved scrutiny early that ultimately lost him the mayoral election to Darth (which was totally not a bad thing, as it worked out :D) My apologies for wording that wrong.
