It was kind of bound to happen anyway if the chance came up to match fix for extra cash. These guys are in a pretty desperate situation since most of them never made any relevant money in progaming and I bet the pressure from family and stuff is pretty high because they didn't get successful while the society is super competitive there.

Money problems can bring out the worst in people unfortunately. :<

Sonic is pretty cool for his dedication. I hope he can pull himself together after this or he could get some help with the league on his end. It seems like a waste to let something so good die. Part of me can't help but think he's being a little too dramatic though announcing the end of everything. It doesn't seem fair to the fans or the players who refused that the match fixers that that it all ends because a (probably) minority of players decided to be dicks.

Hopefully everything can recover once the initial shock wears off

Sonic please don't give up! I've only recently discovered the SSL (I've even managed to get my housemates into it) after virtually no BW exposure since the hybrid Proleague. This is probably the most excited I've been for BW in a really long time - please continue the legacy!
