RootPrincess/SixjaxMajor caught smurfing in tourny - Page 4

Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway.

Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please.

Him doing this certainly doesn't reflect on Artosis at all- he surely had no idea about it, and cannot in any way be faulted for what a member of his team does on their own initiative.

What WILL reflect on Artosis, however, is what he does about it. It's not good for any team that wants to be seen as a credible, professional organization to have players that shamelessly break the rules of ANY tournament.

To be honest, it was about the money. He's from SA, 500$ is like 6 months pay there, he wasn't the first person to cheat and won't be the last. Wasn't Haypro, TT1 and a bunch of other progamers cheating in sc1, and yet everyone forgot about it?

At the same time, I hate he did this, but, then, I go, "meh". Scumbag move of him anyways.

What's more damaging to his character is his childish reaction to being caught.

Funny thing is, he talks big online, but is very shy in real life, like many, ethugs.

I am almost totally certain Major did not prepare for this tournament as he probably thought it would be just easy money.
Really, why is real cheese so hard to come by in Korea? ^&^

anyone here can explain why 'Fenix and a few Korean' were added to the tournament?

They WEREN'T. Learn to read.

What is up with people on the internet telling other people to learn to read? What makes you think he can't read? Or, why do you have to be such a dick to someone for making one little mistake?

Also, this is pretty standard behavior for Juan. He not only tried to play in WCG USA a few years ago, but pretended to be a girl while doing so.

Not too sure how this reflects on Artosis, I doubt he had any idea Major was going to do this.

And I will say that after reading the rules it was hard to determine which set was the most valid. However, if he was told by Admins of the tourney to not play, he shouldn't have played.

He specifically recruited him and he's the manager of his team - It certainly effects him.

@Ehalf - He said they WEREN'T added.

Major/Princess/Kitty/Terran/Brittney has always been known for his immaturity and tendency to stir up troubles before Artosis decided to recruit him. I don't think Artosis will really care about this.

Fair enough. Until he was told by the admins that he was not eligible. Then continued to smurf, even after he knew he wasn't allowed to play. Yes the rules were unclear and that was the fault of the organizers but he was told he wasn't allowed.

Honestly, it was against the rules and all, but this is exactly why I feel restricting people based on where they're born/where they live is a stupid thing to do. Why exactly does it matter if it's just people from SEA? How does the tournament benefit at all from limiting the player pool based on nationality?

I honestly doubt sixjax will do anything, maybe just force him to come up with some sort of apologize or something

The admins directly cleared up this ambiguous wording WITH Major.

Have you read the conversation where he is asking the admins if he can join the tournament and they specifically tell him no because he is not a SEA citizen?

What a great excuse from Major in that chatlog: He broke the rules "cause ur being a fag".

From Dox:

I'm busy as hell trying to manage the brackets right now, so I'll write something up in a little more detail later on. But here's my immediate thoughts.

SixJax.Major made absolutely no attempt to communicate with me whatsoever. He says I "forced him" into buying an SEA account.
Major asked deL (5 days ago) if he could compete. deL asked me. I said no.
I asked Major why he didn't get in touch with me. He said, "I don't have your char code and deL is useless." I reminded him that he could have easily PM'd me on the TL forums but he said he can't do that. I asked him why and he replied with, "You don't understand, you're stupid."
I'm pretty sure that battle.net has never been the first point of contact for tournament admins in any event.
I'm hosting these events to grow the SEA competitive scene. I see the value in allowing international players to compete in SEA events, however this is not one of them.
This is $500 of my own money. There are no sponsors for this event, it's just me. Therefore I don't really appreciate the huge amount of abuse and community backlash I received for not allowing Major to participate.
I didn't allow GTS (ST_KingKong) to compete because he is not a SEA citizen. He understood.
Major contacted me for the first time this morning. I explained the situation to him. He argued and abused me for 45 minutes. His argument was, "But you let FXO.Tgun play and he's in Korea? That's bias." I explained that FXO.Tgun is an Australian citizen who resides in Sydney, but he said it doesn't matter because he's in Korea right now. He was essentially just trolling me.
After finally giving up on abusing me, he said "Fair enough" and logged out. Then he accidentally traded account information with Gerlan on his live stream.
Major broke the rules by using someone elses account, and Gerlan broke the rules by giving someone his account after he'd been denied participation.
Both players are banned from any future events I'm running. (Future Dox Cups may include a limited number of international participants.)
This is supposed to be a community BUILDING event. This is doing nothing but damaging it. I'll be chasing up SixJax management because I don't like people trying to scam me.
Three hours after being disqualified from the event, Major is STILL doing nothing but sitting in the tournament channel trolling and picking fights.

It supports the SEA community directly? For example, if there were to be a league in SEA that has a 50k prize pool every month, then there would be more SEA players who would try to get good enough to win them, and teams may arise from there (if not SEA players just joining SEA teams, or new ones forming).
