To ensure this thread won't be closed, you must adhere to several a number of simple rules;
  • Please use spoilers when quoting a post with pictures and/or videos.
  • When posting large quantities of media (pictures or videos), please begin spoilering after the first piece. Grouping related videos in the same spoilers & labeling is recommended.
  • No reposting of old material unless justified
  • Posting any material with little or no relevent discussion accompanying it
  • No passion-induced flaming of each other because 'x said y sucked' etc.
  • Keep the expression hate of music individuals/groups to a minimal level
  • No 'pagetopping' in any form whatsoever, as it constitutes spam equal to posts similar to 'first'.
  • No vulgar fan fics or wet dream stories. It is creepy, weird, and it dehumanizes the people who you are here to celebrate/discuss.
  • Normal posting standards that you find throughout the rest of the site still apply and will be enforced more strictly from here forward (2012/03/11)

Due to the poor nature of this thread in the past, temporary two-day bans will occur more than often if people slip up.

There are actually quite a few top solo Korean singer.
Too bad they are overshadowed by idol groups.

I can't consider anyone from Suju as the best since they're all just trainees who got rejected from TVXQ anyway.

Ailee, Eunji (apink) pretty good. Davichi if you count them as idols. All of BEG pretty good honestly.

Damn thanks Moon!

Does anyone know where is a place I could find 1080p (or hi-res) wallpapers for Korean idols? I use wallbase.cc, but their selection is only so limited. :x In particular, if anyone could link me to some nice Yoona wallpapers (that I hopefully don't have yet), I'd greatly appreciate it!

Ask around here or go to the fansites I spose.

The 3 from KRY Suju really aren't that bad, not the best tho obviously. BEG is topclass but we all know that. Generally speaking Korea has a lot of talent. Noraebang jjang? :p

Other option is to google search and then limit to you resolution. Not always the most successful way though.

Yay 5 members! I really liked this eps, very heartwarming lines for Dai5ies and Sojin asking the public to be more involved in performance culture. It seems like the podcast took a break during August, (sneak peaked into end of eps 17, preview near the end said Summer Horror special) I hope they still continue to make these. Giving me time to catch up ^^.

I hope nothing happened to Jihae as she's been missing out of promotions for a few months, but we'll see very soon. Don't ask me, I would like to know myself.

Girl’s Day Truth Game – Episode 6 – "Envelops the Japanese Islands".

+ Show Spoiler [Open for Podcastlation] +

[0:00]

Starting song: Girl's Day - 'Shuppy Shuppy'

Host - National girl group, 1st time ever broadcasted this is Girl's Day~
Group - Truth game!
Yura - His voice spiked.
Sojin - Everyday!
Group - Girl's Day! Hello this is Girl's Day.
Host - Meeting all five members like this, it's been a long time. First of all while recording five episodes so far what I didn't think of beforehand, is starting with Sojin an introduction for each of your voices.

Sojin - Hello this is Sojin.
Jihae - Hello this is Jihae.
Yura - Hi this is Yura.
Minah - Hihi this is Minah~
Hyeri - Hello this is the maknae Hyeri!
Sojin - Oh advertising tone.
Hyeri - Yoohoo.

Host - Yes that's good, now we've heard introductions from each member's voices. In our 6th episode, today is May 12th.
Jihae - Today is Kim Tae Woo sunbaenim's birthday, which I like.
Yura - Wah I like him too^^.
Minah - But everyone do you know this tomorrow is...
Hyeri - It's her birthday. (muffled audio)

Host - Tomorrow is Minah's birthday isn't it.
Minah - Everyone knows Kim Tae Woo sunbaenim's birthday but not mine!
Group - Nope, Yep.
Jihae - Because the day after is my birthday.
Minah - Of course I know unni's birthday~
Hyeri - Sojin-unni please say a word.
Yura - They're telling you to pick a birthday present, why aren't you picking one Bang Minah.
Sojin - Stop it.

Host - With Sojin-ssi here, it's much easier to control. Last week recording with three people it was a complete mess! It was so hard to control, even when I tried editing pieces together...
Minah - Why can't an MC control properly then?
Yura - That's right

[2:00]

Host - So you're saying it's my fault...
Sojin - You're the MC.
Jihae - Do you know how MC Squid looks like.
Yura - He looks stupid* haha.
Minah - His look today is very stupid*.
(T/N: *Stupid meaning, someone like a neighborhood doofus, there's been famous comedies in the past depicting these kinds of characters, similar to dumb and dumber)

Host - Ah right now...
Sojin - Today he is Lee Soo Geun-ssi* concept.
(T/N: *Famous comedian from variety show 1 Day 2 Nights, as he is from the outer countryside and fit well with the show's concept)

Host - I took my hat on and off.
Minah - Additionally he wore slippers here today. Samsun Samsun(brand)
Host - Yes Samsun slipper, I wore them here. Anyways everyone you all came back from Japan.
Group - Yes.
Host - So today's 6th episode title is, Envelop the Islands. You guys came back on May 7th right.
Group - Yes.
Host - After leaving on what day?
Group - 2nd.. On the 1st.

Host - Yes for seven days you were all so busy, it was hard to even contact your managers.
Jihae - Now that's just not taking your calls.
Host - Did they avoid me?
Jihae - I think so hehe.
Host - I think I'm always losing out, when I come to DreamT. You guys held concerts in Osaka and Tokyo yes.
Group - Yes.

Host - When was the Osaka concert?
Jihae - On May 2nd we held the Osaka concert, on the 3rd we went to Nagoya, did a promotion, then playing around for a while, and in the end...
Hyeri - We didn't play around! We did the promotion all day.
Jihae - Yes we did it everyday. But now that' we're done now.
Minah - Yes done now.
Jihae - I expressed it like that because we finished well.
Hyeri - I'm sorry!
Jihae - On May 6th, lastly we held two concerts in Tokyo and finished up.

Host - Yes during that time I couldn't contact you all, I want to know how you've all been. First on May 2nd, the hot atmosphere in Osaka concert, could you paint a picture for us?
Minah - Mmm... Our first concert was very fun but it went by so rapidly, I can only remember changing our outfits hehe.
Host - How many times did you change during the concert regularly?
Jihae - Around 6 outfits?

[4:00]

Sojin - Rounded down to 6.
Host - Oh rounding down to 6, that's a lot of changing. A different concept for each song.
Hyeri - Yes for people watching it may look nice and peaceful, but as soon as the song ends we change right away.
Sojin - You can only breathe comfortably on stage.
Host - As soon as the lights go off, have to change quickly. In the Osaka concert how many songs did you perform?
Jihae - Around... 15 songs?
Sojin - Yea there were many, 1 2 3 4 5 10 11 12 13 14... yea around that much.
Host - Which song had the best reponse with the fans at the Osaka concert.
Group - Has to be, Twinkle Twinkle.

Host - Because Twinkle Twinkle is the most well known. Jjijjibbong*.
Minah - Woah~
(T/N: Korean way of saying Jinx, where other person won't be able to speak, but this Korean way the one who says jjijjibbong first holds/pulls the other person's cheeks and the person being held says 'ddang' to be released from it, there's more than one way based on regions.)

Host - Even in Korea where were many articles written for this. Like >Japan, 4,000 audience is restless. >Singing along Twinkle Twinkle, huge success.
Sojin - The following along, the level of it was like, honestly even in Korea, almost on par with our performances in the Army, on that level, even if our langauges are different. impressive.
Yura - Their pronunciation is also perfect, on the level where the whole group was singing along.
Host - Group singing, did they practice together I wonder?
Sojin - Of course they must have.
Host - In Osaka there were fanclub presidents too right.
Hyeri - Mmm... In Osaka?
Sojin - We don't have a definite fanclub yet, no president like that, but we have memorable people.
Minah - Ah there's some people, that copy our stage outfits exactly.

[6:00]

Jihae - Also had a Girl's Day t-shirt, in red color.
Sojin - There are items that had our names written on them, whether it be a fan, hairband, glowsticks, t-shirts.
Jihae - Signs too.
Host - They're all preparing them individually. To organize all that without a fanclub is pretty hard. Made and decorated Girl's Day logos on the items. When some hardcore fans become really passionate, sometimes they're a bit scary.
Jihae - That's right. They're not scary though.
Sojin - Yes they're very.
Minah - Lovable ^^.
Host - Yes they are lovable, but what I'm talking about is when they're cheering on so passionately.
Sojin - Don't call our fans otakus!

[Sojin Victory!!! <3]

Host - So in the end only I become the bad guy huh.
Minah - Of course.
Host - Whenever I come here I feel like I'm committing sins, afterwards need to go to confession. On May 2nd you finished your Osaka concert well, you mentioned you did a promotion in Nagoya. Did anything fun happen or have an interesting episode from your time in Nagoya?
Jihae - Not really an episode but after the concert we ate sushi.
Host - Sushi.
Hyeri - Osaka sushi is delicious.
Sojin - The fish is three times the length of the rice.
Host - The fish?
Jihae - It was so long.

Hyeri - It was our first visit to Osaka, we made a resolution to eat some sushi.
Minah - This is a guarantee from me, it was an eel sushi, after flipping the eel the amount of rice under it is the size of my thumb. I felt so happy.
Host - Because the eel was big and the rice was the size of your thumb.
Sojin - It was half the size of the eel.
Minah - I felt so happy.

Sojin - The real episode is when we were in Osaka, the night arriving on the first day.

[8:00]

Sojin - After the promotion we went shopping momentarily, and Yura fell in love with one shop. In there she saw a pair of sneakers, Yura loves exercise shoes, but the price of the pair of 8,000 Yen [~102.23 USD], in Korean around 100,000 won.

So trying to buy in speaking in parts of Japanese English Korean, we got a discount. How much did we get it for? To 7,000 Yen. [~89.45 USD] Even in our currency it is not cheap shoes. So Yura did a big investment in those shoes, and we came back to Korea. Recently after changing our outfits, there were shoes exactly same as the ones she bought.

Jihae - After asking about the price, they said around 25,000-35,000 won. [~22.28 USD-31.20USD]
Hyeri - So around half price.
Sojin - She got super ripped off.
Minah - Right now Yura-unni's face is really, * appear like it.
[*It seems like something was edited out by the MC]

Jihae - The important thing is that it is different colors.
Sojin - And our new outfits shoes were the color that Yura wanted.
Host - One second, if we talk like this for 40 more seconds Yura will cry.
Yura - However! If normal people went they won't purchase them at that price.
Minah - Of course.
Host - If normal people went.
Yura - Not at that at price.
Host - ...Saying that to have self-justification. It's okay, it's okay.
Group - It's okay~ (chant)

Host - No problem Yura-ssi. That shoe didn't have like a special brand or anything right.
Yura - But the shoes are so pretty.
Sojin - Enough to fall in love with.
Host - Please take a picture of it and upload it to twitter.
Yura - Additionally I mentioned to our CEO-nim, ah this would be so pretty for our stage outfit, he said no and then right away it became our stage outfits.
Host - He didn't buy it either?
Minah - Yes, it was coincidental, it turned out like this.
Sojin - Really funny.
Yura - Also I wanted to buy

[10:00]

Yura - Silver colored shoes, but there was no fitting size so I bought a black pair. And then our outfits had a silver colored one.
Host - The silver colored one as the stage outfits. Why don't you do a little switcheroo.
Minah - Later take one for yourself.
Host - Take one for yourself. So the episode from Osaka is the thumb size rize in the eel sushi, and Yura's shoes. When did you arrive in Nagoya?
Sojin - The day afterwards.
Host - I see, how far is it from Nagoya to Osaka?
Group - Hmm, 3.5 hour car ride.
Host - It's not that far away.
Sojin - Oh it's far away, it's like the distance from Seoul to Daegu.
Host - Ah.. It is far away.
Minah - Your ears are so thin*.
[*Korean expression, you are easily persuaded/influenced]

Host - Because I'm a fan of you all. If I say something you will tell on me to the dai5ies.
Group - a-Of course. b-I won't~

Sojin - In Nagoya, something that surprised us is that our album, the day it arrived that it was all sold out. If you compare Nagoya it's around the size of Daegu. [Around 2.5 million pop.] To tell the truth since we're foreign singers, besides the main cities I didn't think many people will know us. But even in smaller regions where it was sold out in a day, I was deeply moved.
Yura - Also CD's we signed were all gone in 3 minutes-5 minutes.
Sojin - Everything we took to Japan, bromide CD, they were all sold out. When we heard it first our reactions were plain. Thinking 'oh is that so?'
Yura - Then they gave us a comparison, one of Japan's best singer CD's, only sold 3 copies.
Sojin - Sell 3 a day.

[12:00]

Yura - But our few hundred, hundred something CDs, they were all sold. After hearing that comparison.
Jihae - We could realize it.
Sojin - Please edit the hundred something CD part.
Host - Yes?
Sojin - Please edit the hundred something CD part.
Yura - Is that not it?
Sojin - Yes it's right, but it's a very small amount... to express it like that.

Host - But it's not easy to do that. In a place like Daegu.
Sojin - WHAT DO YOU MEAN LIKE DAEGU!
Group - (Laughs)

[Sojin 2:0 MC JJu]

Hyeri - Daegu residents, we're sorry.
Host - Hey I'm Daegu. (Using Daegu regional dialect keke)
Minah - Region.
Host - It's hard to sell in the smaller regions, and did you promote in Nagoya up to May 3rd?
Group - Yes.
Jihae - Promote for a day, ride the Shinkansen (bullet train), and then we went to Tokyo.
Host - Prepared in Tokyo for the concert.
Group - Yes.
Host - The Tokyo concert must've been the bigger one yes?
Group - Yes.
Host - The Tokyo concert was on May 6th, can you describe the concert scenery image for the listeners?

Hyeri - We did one around lunchtime and one in the evening.
Minah - The concert time was around noon but doing rehearsal and preparations, we did them in the early morning. So in a half-asleep state, everyone's condition was suffering. so in the 2nd concert I remember everyone struggling.
Jihae - Truthfully we made many mistakes.
Host - Mmm.. In the Tokyo concert.
Hyeri - Eh hem, who who?
Jihae - Yes it was me.
Hyeri - (laughs)

Host - Jihae-yang did mistakes. What kind of mistakes?
Jihae - I was so sorry.
Host - You can talk about it now, what kind of mistakes did you make?
Yura - AHA! Lyrics.
Host - You're kidding, lyrics mistake.
Jihae - There were moments I messed up the lyrics.
Sojin - She says she also messed up lyrics~
Jihae - Because of the clothes, since we have to keep changing. There was a solo stage for me. Constantly outside our CEO-nim was...

[14:00]

Jihae - 'RIGHT NOW YOU HAVE TO GO, 30 SECONDS 20 SECONDS 10 SECONDS, YOU HAVE TO COME OUT RIGHT NOW JIHAE JIHAE JIHAE'. The clothes had a messed up zipper so it wouldn't lock. So I was like, 'Oh know what do I do, just a second my pants, I have no pants on how do you expect me to go on stage?'

Host - No pants fashion.
Jihae - Yeah!
Host - Completely missing.
Jihae - So that made me so frustrated. So in that chaotic moment, didn't even wear the right shoes, the heels were 15cm. Didn't even put those on properly, and went through the stage so I hurt myself.
Host - Oh on your left hand right now.
Jihae - I hurt myself.
Minah - Really? How'd you do that.
Sojin - She doesn't even remember how she hurt it.
Host - Rushing too much.
Hyeri - When Jihae-unni was putting on her clothes she was talking in an almost crying tone, 'I KNOW, I KNOW THERE'S NO TIME'.
Sojin - In a busy time you put pressure on someone, it feels terrible.

Jihae - Anyhow the stage ended. So I got consumed by the passion, so on the stage I released my stress. After that there was a ballad song.
Host - Which song was that, 'Two of Us'?
Group - It was 'Young Love'.

Jihae - We have to sing the song together, what made it worse I went on to the stage late. So it came to my part, so my mind was still unorganized, so I kept thinking about that stage. So the lyrics are orginally, 'You without me it's already not me me'. --> 'You without me, now it's not you you me me'
Sojin - You you me me~
Hyeri - This part here. 'You without me, now it's LALALALALALA'
Jihae - 'Now it's you it's you'
Yura - No it was like this, 'Now it's you *mumbles*'

Sojin - At first it was like that, in 2nd verse it was like this.
Hyeri - That part in the song, she messed up three times.
Yura - And near the end after messing up, she did a little... 'ehe' she laughed.

[16:00]

Minah - There was one more time. In that moment, I'm getting a cold sweat, even if it's not in Korea they all sing along, I think they would know.
Host - Yes the fans would know the lyrics.
Jihae - After singing the song like that in my mind went gasp big trouble, then the members are staring at me because they were surprised, I looked at the fan's reactions. But it looks okay.
Minah - It's okay you say?
Host - Your personal thoughts might be different from the fans.
Jihae - On the second part, I sang the wrong lyrics confidently...
Sojin - You thought you just needed to speak in Korean.
Minah - Add one more person to self-justification group.
Jihae - Really I don't remember. Afterwards I thought, ah it's over. Near the end of the song, ah-ah-uh, there's a melody I need to do, but then it turned out AH-AH-UH.
Host - Your notes went higher.
Minah - A problem that came up, after unni's part I sing, 'I need you~' because it was so funny, 'I need you~'.
Host - You couldn't finish the line.
Yura - For the first two lyric mistakes I held my laughter in, but during the 'ah-ah-uh' part I couldn't hold it in any longer, when I met my eyes with Hyeri, Sojin-unni held it in and the four of us burst out laughing.

Minah - But.. in that moment I saw our CEO-nim's facial expression! It was near the end, and his response was...
Host - CEO's shocked look. What happened after the stage ended? Did you have a talk with him.
Group - Nope, since there are more stages afterward.
Sojin - We didn't talk, but in the 2nd concert. If you mention performing, it was an evening atmosphere.

[18:00]

Sojin - There's an exciting atmosphere in the night for performances you know. In our 2nd concert performance, we concentrated and made no mistakes.
Host - So Jihae-ssi, I saw CEO-nim reviewing your contract. This is a joke.
Hyeri - Stop it.
Sojin - Please don't joke. Not that kind of joke please.
Host - I'm sorry. For Jihae-ssi before that zipper malfunction, could have turned into a +19 concert.
Minah - Ah.. no it was solved properly.
Host - I see.
Hyeri - In the 1st concert, it was a group mistake, after that in the 2nd concert we put even more effort into it.

[This maknae is so <3]

Host - The highlight is the evening concert after all.
Sojin - Yes since it was the last concert in Japan, even the earlier ones were packed, they reduced even more free space to fit fans in.
Yura - Up to the 2nd floor.
Host- Where was the concert held?
Hyeri - A place called Diver City.
Sojin - Yes a place called Zepp.
Yura - I remember because of the Wi-Fi.
Sojin - Yes we performed in the Zepp concert places.

Host - Looking here Osaka had a Zepp venue. How many people could the Tokyo venue hold?
Jihae - Probably around 3,000 people.
Sojin - Tokyo should be over 4,000.
Host - The stats say 3,000 but the articles say 4,000 all packed in.
Hyeri - I don't know the exact number but, I was so thankful to each fan who came to see us and felt moved.
Minah - I remember the 2nd floor being filled up.
Host - Up to the 2nd floor, so it has two floors?
Group - Yes yes.
Yura - It was very wide.
Hyeri - After checking out the venue, compared to last year's concert.

[20:00]

Hyeri - It looked twice as big, it was worrisome and looked foward to it. I'm happy we finished it safely.
Host - After seeing the video from last year's concert, after the concert ended everyone was in tears.
Sojin - Not everyone, just Hyeri Hyeri.
Hyeri - Last year everyone cried!
Jihae - Nawp.
Hyeri - Not unni (Sojin), me and unni cried, Jihae-unni that is.
Sojin - This year Jihae didn't cry.
Hyeri - Ah.. is-is that so?

Host - How was this year's concert, did anyone cry.
Group - This year..
Yura - It felt different.
Host - After the first concert last year, it was the first solo concert for Girl's Day. It must've been different being your second one.

Hyeri - As an experienced person who cried, preparing for the 1st one so hectic, since everyone was just resting, we focused fully on it. We poured our all into it. It felt comfortable, felt deeply moved, as this was our first one seeing all the fans feeling excited as well, so before we went up on stage we were crying.

This time, after meeting eye to eye with fans who love us and came to see us again, since that moment I felt a sudden surge of emotion. While saying the last words, I was deeply moved by the fans.

Sojin - Some people came to all three concerts, additionally they come to all the promotions as well.
Host - Then their faces become recognizable yes.
Sojin - They become engraved in our heads.
Minah - Truthfully through this comeback, we had an 8 month break, during that time there were some tough times.

[22:00]

Minah - Through this concert, I feel like it gave us strength. We may have given energy to our fans, it feels like we received more.
Host - Of course, our members are 5 people, but fans 4,000 each, since there were 3 so 12,000 fans.
Minah - Not like that, but we felt our fans hearts.
Hyeri - Even if there's only 20-30 people, I enjoy it.
Group - Yes that's right.

Host - For those fans that come, give you energy to continue on.
Sojin - Honestly while doing this work, one can think like this, everything won't turn out the way I want, just because it's us not like we won't think things like other people, every time I meet those negative thoughts, there's something like this, the road I'm going on where is this, is it right*.

[*I believe Sojin is referencing GOD's - Road, oh such sense ^^]

To those uncomfortable thoughts I have, the fact there are people supporting us like this, it is happiness.

Hyeri - We're thankful even from their support.
Sojin - There are times where I won't even listen to myself, that there are people like like us and support us, who can live like this from the support of so many. Really thank you.

Host - Oh right now a mysterious thing, when we record do you have a seating arrangement? All the same spots, I'm so used to this spot. There's a recording posture. Hyeri-ssi is always sitting cross legged. Seeing this I think, oh so deja vu since we're in the same spots.
Hyeri - Funny thing, while going to a Japan concert we rode a large bus, we're always sitting how we sat in the first time.
Yura - Was it this position last time too?
Group - Yes.

[24:00]

Hyeri - Anyways it's similar ok.
Minah - It almost never changes.
Hyeri - It's become a habit.
Host - Without you noticing you have to place yourseves. Normally when you ride a bus it's usually a two person side row. And there are five members. How do you all sit?
Hyeri - We each take two seats.
Host - Ah each member takes a side row.
Yura - On the corners, our bags.
Minah - If it's a big bus we do that, but if it's a small bus.
Hyeri - The front spots.
Sojin - Just without too much thinking.
Minah - Still, after the first sitting that becomes the day's seating.

Host - Ah after a sitting.
Hyeri - It's fun.
Sojin - We talk to eachother like this too, same spots again.
Minah - We don't change roommates either.
Hyeri - That's right.

Host - Right now how is it divided.
Hyeri - Sojin-unni Jihae-unni, Minah-unni Yura-unni, me and manager-unni.
Minah - Wherever we go rooms are like this.
Host - Sojin-ssi.. Jihae-ssi, oh.
Minah - Me and Yura-unni, and Hyeri alone.
Hyeri - That would be fun.
Host - With manager, ah you divided with your ages.
Sojin - That's right. Put maknae with manager.
Hyeri - No real obligation to put her with me~

Host - You all aren't trying to have a drink without Hyeri right?
Jihae - Nope, not at all.
Sojin - Drinking is a taboo word.
Host - Your CEO put up a no drinking rule.
Hyeri - A drinking rule.
Host - Until Hyeri becomes an adult, until that.
Minah - I don't think it will be lifted even when she becomes an adult. CEO-nim told me this, when I become 20 I can drink right? CEO-nim says through the law I can't until I'm 21, saying I can't drink.
Yura - Then it's okay for me since I'm 21?
Minah - Yes.

[26:00]

Sojin - Probably won't let us until we become CEO-nim's age. [1967]
Jihae - After you get married.
Host - It's sort of funny to be still in Girl's Day at CEO-nim's age.
Jihae/Hyeri - Why, we can still do it.
Host - Yes you can!
Minah - MC Jju hates us.
Host - That is nonsense.
Jihae - Our CEO-nim's mind is probably a boy.
Hyeri - Boy, Boy Day.
Yura - Do you remember at the concert. Coming out at the end CEO-nim.
Sojin - Our CEO-nim has a star-like quality. After appearing in our MV, seems like his dream is growing. So at the end of our concert, we were concentrated feeling sad and happy when we were saying our last words, someone is moving himself through the crowd and pass us by.
Host - On top of the concert stage.
Sojin - Everyone laughed, we explained he was our CEO, he must've liked the spotlight ^^.
Hyeri - Next time we probably have to promote with him ^^.

Host - Around 2013 he mentions he'll release a solo album.
Group - Ahhh.
Hyeri - That's why he was practicing singing.
Sojin - He even danced at the concert.
Group - Really?
Hyeri - Yes he danced with me.
Minah - Hehehe.
Host - CEO-nim has those kinds of ambitions.
Hyeri - He rolls his hips.
Sojin - He spins it well.

Host - Is there any recorded video?
Sojin - Nope. Since it was backstage.
Host - Ah backstage.
Sojin - Only me and Hyeri saw.
Host - Ah those kinds of things you have to record and upload. Yes because this is on iTunes, not just Korea but Japan, America, is broadcasted to the rest of the world, if anyone wants they can download and listen. Right now to Japanese fans listening, you all came back recently, a word of thanks would be nice. Sojin-ssi first.

Sojin - To Japanese fans? To give us support beyond our expectations, thank you very much. Also with your unchanging devotion, thank you.

[28:00]

Sojin - We Girl's Day until we officially debut in Japan, then let's meet again ^^.
Minah - Everyone! Hello, I love you all~
Jihae - Byebye.
Yura - I love you~ kiss kiss.

Host - They're saying they love you all, kiss kiss. Now we heard about the Japan concerts, there were many requests for concerts in Korea too. While you all were in Japan, the podcast organisers among the sites there's one called pod bang, after meeting that site's organiser I did an interview with him as the organiser. He's very curious about Girl's Day doing the podcast, because amongst the girl groups this is a first. He seemed very interested. Also asking how this podcast will increase interest in K-Pop, I've asked about concert plans in the past inside Korea, is there any plans?

Sojins - Our minds we want to do it as soon as possible. This will probably be a request for the people, I hope you all won't distant yourselves with performances. Whoever is performing to be interested in them, I hope people take interest in the culture of performance. Right now if we do one, truthfully I don't know if could fill up the concert venue. When we get the feeling that we could fill up the venue, we will do the concert, and I hope that day comes sooner. Everyone too,

[30:00]

Sojin - Not just our performances, enjoy it, feel it, I hope that happens.
Host - Understood. You said you didn't think you could fill up the venue, what kind of big venue are you thinking of.
Sojin - The 88 (Olympic) Gymnasium, the Gymnastics stadium.
(English Wiki - 70,091 current seating)
Jihae - Jamsil combined exercise stadium.
(Korean Wiki - 69,950 current seating)

Hyeri - If we want to do it, we should go big.
Host - You can fill up that much.
Group - Of course.
Jihae - If the whole country comes.
Sojin - Don't they do lots of concerts there.
Host - Yes.
Sojin - While doing fanmeetings in smaller places.
Minah - They do small concerts too.
Sojin - Oh really?

Minah - There are people who hold smaller ones. There are many performers like that.
Sojin - Compared to our genre.
Host - Ballad or Solo artists like that can.
Sojin - They can do that easier.
Host - ____ University Concert Hall.
Minah - In the past...
Sojin - Univerity Concert Halls are big too.
Host - Very big. In the past yes?
Minah - In the past Psy-sunbaenim, I remember he did a small concert for 2-3 days.
Host - If you go to a Psy concert, there's no chairs.
Minah - Yes.

Host - Because people hated sitting down, in a different concert if Psy comes as a guest, he always tells them to stand up.
Sojin - From my personal wishes, instead of sitting down, since we're not ballad genre, instead of just sitting down and watching and giving the feeling of 'Oh this is Girl's Day' not that, when we have more concert-fitting songs are made, when it could become more enjoyable then I would like to do it.
Host - When you've increased your song repertoire.

Minah - When we were at Japan

[32:00]

Minah - there was a small moment a video was running at that time they were sitting down, when we came out they were like 'Oh they're here' and stood up. When we were on stage they never sat down.
Yura - Yep no one.
Sojin - When the stage starts they are really passionate.
Host - Didn't even say stand up or anything.
Hyeri - Even during the promotions.
Sojin - Korean fans listenings may think, 'Oh their songs aren't very firing up or exciting' but entirely, the response really.
Minah - There were so much.
Sojin - I was even more deeply moved from that.
Yura - They stood up even if they all had chairs.
Host - Not sitting in their chairs. Anything wrong Minah-ssi?
Jihae - Wake up?
Minah - Nope. Joohyun-ee is picking one me.
Host - Ah outside there is Jihae-ssi's puppy.
Yura - It's our puppy.
Host - Oh you are all raising it.

Jihae - Nope it's my puppy.
Yura - Our puppy.
Jihae - Awoo really.
Yura - Really~

Host - Our Girl's Day from May 2nd to 7th, in Japan, concert in Osaka and Tokyo, to share their experienced we talked today. This will be it for today, in our next episode as a first we will invite a guest on.
Group - Omo, possibly... a guy?!
Host - Yes.
Yura - OMO!
Host - I would like to invite another girl but.
Minah - Huh, we're here and you say you want to invite more girl guests?
Sojin - Next time remove MC Squid's mic please.
Minah - Wow!
Hyeri - Sounds good.

Host - This is a disaster. Yes our 6th episode, Girl's Day, 'Envelops the Islands', will end here.
Minah - Yeoido? (Island near coast of Korea)
Yura - Thank you!
Host - Islands, not Yeoido.
Jihae - Till now this was,
Group - Girl's Day, please cheer for us~
Jihae - Byebye~

Ending song: Girl's Day - 'Two of Us'

Fox is the only useful person here, everyone else is just along for the ride

If fox died selflessly saving children from a burning building I would consider uploading music show perfs, but only the groups people actually care about.

Yea, does he have a story or something? I mean he never ever posts any opinions or statements or anything. He just gives us the gift of organized, enjoyable, and relevant videos.

Did he just start doing that one day out of the blue and just hasn't stopped? I'm actually pretty curious.

Ohh and thanks Kim

There was someone else that did what Fox does and once they left this thread Fox took over. At least I'm pretty sure that was the story.

I'd like to get to know the person a little more. Hopefully someday he'll start posting more like that.
