Barring a separate written agreement between Team MRN and its players stipulating that rent, etc, is to be withheld from the $12,500 player compensation before distribution to players, something was done improperly.

Each player gets 12500, pro-rated depending on games played, not time(aka you get paid per game, with the total amount of up to 12500, minimum). This amount should be fixed.
He then gets 25000 to spend on team stuff.
It's a rather messy situation towards the latter half and I'm kinda lost on that but w/e. All the money does appear to be accounted for, and if they fucked up and lost out on the security deposit, it's my opinion that barring a major fuckup being one person's fault, the money should be taken equally from everybody.
I think part of the problem is that the players expected to get paid 12500. You have the problem though, of paying for additional costs(loss of security deposit etc.), and I don't think it's fair either to make Marn pay for that when everybody was living in that house. So when Marn takes it out of people's salary, people get mad.
I don't think it's a single person's fault, but it's a combination of bad decisions(house near the beach, seriously?) and poor management/communication.

No, it was not. I don't have a ranked 5s team. I got a 3s team, but that is somewhere in silver because we played 5 games a few month ago and that is it. And the message is
You have become inactive in ranked solo queue resulting in a demotion to Platinum III. Playing a ranked game prevents demotions for 28 days.
I get it after every game i play now.

I don't really know then. For most people, when they see that demotion stuff, it's generally due to some of their other ranked stuff going down due to inactivity. For you, I have no idea, especially since you are getting it after every game

Without spending three hours of my life ripping apart his business sense, logic, irrational reasoning, and legal ignorance, the best I can say is this:
Don't deal with people like this. The very first line of the "What Happened" section ("Keep in mind, that my name is not on the lease."...) was enough to tell me never trust this person with money, power, leadership, or timely dinner plans. The post is rife with contradiction and shows a plethora of business incompetence.
For the benefit of any of you who are skilled in League, or ever go into business (or contract in any capacity) with others - always get everything in writing. It does not matter if it's who is going to pay the electricity each month. It does not matter if it's where the team expenses will be kept (hint: the LLC bank account). It does not matter if it is your friend, girlfriend, cousin, neighbor, teammate, or pastor. It does not matter if you trust them. It does not matter how smart or how smooth of a talker they are. It does not matter. You are playing against Zerg. You wall your main. Every. Time.
To that end, Riot should immediately implement credit checks for the person they are handing thousands of dollars to each season. It's silly to expect college students to know if a person is trustworthy. Take as much risk away from them as possible.

This is the best write up from the Reddit thread of what Marn says happened.
The most basic summary is this:
Marn's brother fronted them the money ($5000) for the down payments necessary to get the house (security deposit). This was because Riot had not paid the players yet, and they needed the money.
Riot then paid the players, and Marn wanted to re-pay his brother, so he took the required $800 from everyone on the team to give to his brother, since the security deposit was not his burden.
Fastforward to May, and Riot was not paying for their housing anymore (Relegation month), but would pay if they managed to qualify for the Summer split. Thus, Marn took another $800 from everyone to pay for May's rent, which would be returned (via Riot) if they qualified.
They did not qualify, and they trashed the house. This caused no payment from Riot for May's rent (-$800 everyone) and no security deposit returned (-$800 everyone).
This forms the $1600 that members want back, despite having no right to getting this money back. It was conditional repayments, and they did not meet the conditions.
The extra $300, which is being returned, is because everyone on the team wanted to be paid in cash (stupid) and they did not have all the cash on hand for everyone to withdraw at once. Thus, Marn has been giving the $300 to players as he can.
The rest of the numbers are pretty irrelevant to the actual dispute, besides the fact that Marn used DJWheat's share ($12,500 just like the team and Marn got) for house expenses.
tl;dr: Real life business experiences are important to even gamer nerds.

So for whatever reason I started to play White 2 again and for the endgame (where I'm at) I need 3 pokemons for some endgame PvAI stuff. I realized I've never made a Salamence before in my whole pokemon career so for whatever reason I decided to make a Salamence.
What are 2 other pokemons I should have on my team? They don't need to be Jayce level OP but should be at least as strong as Nasus or Renekton and need to not be permabanned by Nintendo's random rules.

What struck me most was they decided to live large and rent a house that seemed a bit beyond their means instead of sticking it out. They probably thought they "made it."
