^^I do expect vets to avoid certain newb mistakes when reading people. But I concede your other points. Especially the one about being unfamiliar with you.
I'll be honest, I think the thread is moving far too slowly. A large portion of the town has not posted, because they are all waiting to see...something, I don't know what. Maybe this will help everyone understand my posting in this game: I'm extremely bored at the moment irl and disappointed every time I check this thread and it's been 2 hours with no posts TT. So yeah, I'm making some noise. And yeah, it's day 1 and it's pretty difficult to make all my posts "productive" or "useful".
I'm gonna post a list of people that are too quiet so far, or not at all day 1. (I'm obviously shifting focus away from all the scum we've already found with out amazing day 1 scum hunting.)

Please post. Who do you think is scum? What do you think is a good course of action for the day? Give me a reason not to lynch you. The more townies lurk, the easier it is for lurking scum to hide. You're doing us a disservice by not posting.

Hypocop is a strategy of not medicing investigative roles. To do this the entire town claims dt, and who they check every night. As people die and someone eventually flips dt you will know which checks are valid and which are not.
However it is an insanely scum favoured plan. I say this for one simple fact. Scum have more knowledge about roles than the town does. Scum knows the identity of 6 people. Anyone who claims to have checked on of their number and what that person actually flipped gives intel on who might actually be a dt, making it easier for them to snipe whoever the dts are checking/the dt's themselves.
Its a horrrrrrrrrible strategy and by know means should be used.
Had mataza not stressed how bad this idea was I would be pushing for his lynch right now. The only saving grace of it is that it will have people talking.

Oh it is a terrrrrrrible plan don't get me wrong. But if the options are take shitty ideas to force discussion or let town lurk itself to death theres only one option really.
This all being said, people have to start talking. We have FoS on sinani, aidnai, and Ilovejohn. I would like to hear from everyone in regards to these three. I will also propose this. If by say noon EST thursday (tommorrow for me) we have not yet heard from people on the zodiac list assume most of the 3 on the lynch docket are likely to be town or mostly town and we instead lynch an obvious uncontributing lurker. With the level of stagnance so far it seems better to kill someone who wont help at all than those who will potentially slip up later if red, or attempt to help if town. I don't like the idea of shooting active voices with so much inactivity.
If the newer players are afraid of posting on chance of revealing their roles, ask the mods who are potential people that could coach them from outside the game or mason someone you feel could give you some help within it. Short of that inactivity will lose the town the game.

That wasn't supposed to be a joke. I said to read SNMMIII because there was a bandwagon for me day one (I was veteran) and the same thing is starting to happen. But then I realized not only did youngminii play in SNMMIII, but he had just said in his above post that he did not think I was scummy that day. So I realized that was completely invalid and told the town to ignore it.

Yeah, I feel scum are definitely content with the environment right now, and obviously liking the discussion at hand. We'd be better off voting for lurkers to force them to talk as I feel there are plenty of scum hiding right now. Night 0 start + half way through Day 1 and A LOT of people have bare minimum posts, heck some people haven't even started posting since the Day post. This really irks me. However, they WILL have to come up with a reason to vote anyways or risk being modkilled. I'm expecting by the end of the Day half ass bandwagons and reasons for voting will be formed and we can further examine those people.
Note: I'll be away from 11 am - 6 pm for most days coming.

On the subject of the current suspects: I think that ilovejonn is town, not sure about aidnai, and sinani is either scum or just playing very poorly, waiting to see his defense/actual contributions. I'm not confident at all that any of them is scum. If I had to pick one to lynch, it'd definitely be sinani.

Depends on the vet to be honest. So far only node and RoL need to be accounted for as of right now. If both appear with decent posts I would say leave the list as it is and throw either dt checks into it, or give 1 more day to let everyone analyze the group. If they both stay horribly inactive lynching one of them is potentially more useful.
If they are however active I would say we get a list of inactives and just lynch one.

I'll give my thoughts on the three FOS targets as well: I'm obviously a perfect little townie.
ILJ's response to pressure makes him look scummier than the original pressure did. That being said, this is only a day1 case, and at least ILJ is one of the active ones. (yah i'm mostly parroting BC).
The case against Sinani is basically: wtf?!? Why would a townie post that way?
Well, consider also, why would a scum post that way? It's easier for me to imagine a townie posting that way than a scum. Consider: a townie doesn't want the thread to be derailed by a bad analysis, so he tries to nip it in the bud. Maybe? Also, he changed his mind in the correct direction, which is kinda null in my opinion, not scummy. Long story short, I don't really think there's a good case against him.
If we had to lynch among the three of us, ILJ would get my vote. But I doubt my vote will actually go there.

@OpZ: I agree that some of those players look scummy. I am curtain that Mafia has all ready posted in fact. but after going though the thread, I dont see that many scum tells. There is just not enough for me to go on right now. Lets keep up the pressure on those three.
FoS on Sandroba:
Maybe I am reading this wrong, but Sandroba is know for Sticking his neck out with plans like the one he said. He is also really good at wiggling out of suspicion. It would make sense for scum to bate out talk on night one that would give them info on players, so they can better aim there hits. His plan did just that. So Sandroba, may I ask why you would say this on night zero? Would it not be better to wait till day 1 to bring this up? are you still interested in applying you plan?
depending on his answers, I might vote for Sandroba. Otherwise, I think lynching one of the lurkers might be a good idea.

I don't really get the case against aidnai, besides that he was a little spammy/off-topic. After those accusations though, he's seemed to shape up his posting for the most part, and gotten back on track.
ILJ's responses to pressure have seemed a bit odd, like others have said.
I'm keeping my vote on Sinani for now, until he comes back, and gives me some kind of reason to change it. What he was doing, is the same as someone saying we need more activity, while continuing to lurk themselves, it just looks scummy to me. It wasn't a one-off thing either, it was a constant insistence, and thus my vote. So, to respond to aidnai, a townie, would call for scum-hunting, but at least would also try to do some of their own. From a scum perspective, it's great to call for scum-hunting, and then do none. Then, when day 1 is a waste, and there's no analysis, he can go back to his posts and tell us how he said we should have scum-hunted, but didn't.

Let's not get back into discussing San's plan. I did that in PTP, and wasted more than half a day of town discussion just arguing about it.
