The smoke basically massaged my taste buds for a good half hour before I burned my fingers.
Don't have a lot of experiences with other premium cigars, but this one is definitely recommended. I prefer the Serie G maduro, but the Serie V is obviously great. Lets be honest. Oliva only makes amazing cigars.

A few Robustos have their outer leaf cracked. They are from an earlier batch which I brought back from my stay in the States, the TSA was not kind to them. I took the vitolas off and passed them as dominican, but they still did not treat them right. I also dont think being thrown around in the luggage helped either. But there was not realy any other way and they survived well enough. Im going to smoke them earlier, thus they are on the top layer. Comments, recommendations? Disclaimer: Not to flame nor for you take personally. I personally know a cigar shop owner and according to his standards he would say you are a douche. He owns 3 shops and tells me how people will walk in with money all the time and buy 300 cigars of what is "known". Thus by seen smoking relatively expensive cigars, they try to associate themselves with a false image. He also taught me when I smoke I should always take off the bands before I smoke, not to show off which brand it is I smoke. It is of mutual appreciation of true cigar aficionados and when somebody sees you smoke a cigar and it appeals to their senses - they will come to you ask what it is you smoke, leading to discussion and sharing flavor notes, instead of recognizing the cigar manufacturer by the band. Many commoners will show off their brand of choice obnoxiously to gain the attention and pretend they know something about cigars but lack the knowledge and history of what they are smoking, let alone can describe it accurately. It is also ideal to have scrap dried cedar around to layer your cigars in your humidor, and to have strips handy for your smoke. I was taught to light the cedar spill first in order to light your smoke. The sulfur from matches, and butane from lighters will ruin your smoke and by lighting cedar spill, you can have a nice initial light without over-burning or contaminating the flavors. Where is your humidor from (which manufacturer?) My preferred smoke of choice was Montecristo no.2 after a heavy meal. I'd usually have a few 95% cocoa dark chocolates to compliment the smoke. When do you smoke, and with what (if, at all)?
I can assure your "friend" I am not a douche because I very seldomly smoke cigars outside my home or with anyone else than close friends of mine who share my interests in cigars. Moreover, I always extend the courtesy of offering any cigar from that box to any of my guests as hospitality would require.
I buy these cigars because I know, from personal experience, that I find them the best. It is also true they are considered among the "elite" of cigars and that is why they are priced accordingly, but the reason I buy them is because I thoroughly enjoy them. It is a little bit hard for me to "obnoxiously gain attention" of other people if I do not leave the confines of my apartment (except the balcony) with the cigars. The reason I do not take them anywhere is because I understand that the great majority of the public does not enjoy being in rooms where cigars are being smoked and that feeling is perfectly understandable and I do not mean to impose on them. I doubt the rare occasion where I smoke one of my own cigars in a public venue could be considered obnoxiously garnering attention, but if it is then so be it. Moreover, if I wanted to obnoxiusly boast or brag I would post pictures with my growing whisky and rum collection (perfect combination with the cigars) which I do not since it is beyond the scope of this thread.
My humidor brand is Zino by Davidoff. My favorite cigar usually depends on the occasion. I love to smoke cigars while playing cards, and for those purposes I enjoy larger vitolas whereas after dinner or accompanying an afternoon drink I would prefer a smaller vitola. All in all, I would have to round it down to 2 cigars which would be the Cohiba Robusto and the Monecristo No. 4. The reason behind it is because I find them both to be relatively balanced for their class/size (The robusto more intense with a larger draw, the No. 4 with a delicate yet noticeable hints of chocolate and coffee).
I usually smoke in the evenings with friends, every 2 weeks on Thursdays. Sometimes we smoke before we go out to the club, but that is very seldom. I accompany my cigars usually with single malt whisky, straight. Right now I am very fond of Macallan Elegancia 12 yrs and Lagavulin 15 yrs for special occasions.

Anyone have experience with dipping/chewing tobacco?
I just bought a tin of Skoal long cut peach by accident, I was pretty dumb because I thought it would be loose tobacco that you smoke... then I open the tin, and think to myself wtf is this wet stuff :S
Tried to hold some in between my bottom lip and teeth, but the stuff gets broken apart so easily and I have to spit like every 5-10 seconds which is annoying, not to mention bits and pieces inevitably move around to other parts of my mouth which I find unpleasant.
Are you supposed to suck/swallow the fruity juices? How long are you supposed to hold it every time?
Some advice would be appreciated

I used to smoke Du Maurier, but I switched to Pall Mall because I'm currently in between jobs and trying to save a bit of money. Of course my loved ones say " IF YOU WANNA SAVE MONEY JUST DON'T SMOKE"
ughhh, just let me sit back, enjoy my smoke and watch my day 9 daily.

Hey man I'm sure I can help you out because I used to dip a lot. First the reason you lost a lot of the dip is you probaly didn't pack it. You want to have the dip as tightly packed as possible. Then when you take a pinch put it between your thumb and index finger and pull your bottom lip out while putting it as tight as possible. You might lose a little bit but if you do it right the majority of it will still be there.
Now to the actual consuming of it. You want to suck on it like you are generating saliva. don't swallow the juice you get but instead spit it out in a bottle or spitoon or the ground. The stuff that you spit is really gross and most people will be disgusted by it. You can keep it in as long as you want but I find that longer then a half hour it gets a little tiresome because of the whole not swallowing at all. After it's out I would defiently suggest you wash your mouth out with water to make sure you don't swallow any of it.
If you are worried about it getting out of control you can always buy pouches will still do the job. Grizzly seems to have the best pouches in my experience. Snus is also another option which is ment to be swallowed but it is a lot less strong and wont buzz you as much.
I've found that Mint flavor is really good and sold in most stores. Cherry Skoal was by far my favorite though but I can only find it at the indian reservation near my house.
Hope I helped!

Yeah I second the pouches rec. Supposedly they are less potent but I can't tell a difference and it is 100x easier/less messy.

Thanks for the advice, I'm getting a pretty strong nicotine buzz from the stuff which is surprising, considering I've been smoking ~5 ciggs everyday for the past 2 weeks.
I find the tingling sensation terribly irritating though, which made me nauseous so I suppose this will take some getting used to. If I keep the ball of snuff in one place, that part of my mouth starts to tingle then hurt after about 5 minutes, forcing me to relocate the ball to another part of my mouth which break the ball... ahhh I'm so noob, pretty frustrated at the moment:S
Is this stuff smokable by any chance? It's still tobacco right, but are there additives that are (relatively even more) harmful if combusted?

I rarely smoke, as I usually go for snus instead http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snus. Tastes so fucking good and lasts way longer.
If I do buy ciggarettes for a night out or so, it's gotta be prince.

It tastes like a soft wooden heaven.

So I'm in the middle here. Won't stop current smokers, and I doubt it'll have too much of an impact on younger people. After all, schools teach kids that cigs are bad anyway.

Yeah the tingling is pretty bothersome but you get used to it after a while. I've never thought about smoking it but I feel like it would be pretty tough considering it's not really dried out.

So the price of cigarettes keep going up and I'm looking for a solution.
I was told buying cartons online is a real good deal, but the first few finds on google sketch me out a little bit. The prices seem too good to be true and I'm afraid of buying fake cigs or get my credit card stolen from some eastern European country.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a reliable source for this type of service.

I don't know were you live but if you have an indian reservation near you it would definetly be worth the trip. There is one about 20 minutes from my house. I buy a carton of Seneca Reds (Pretty much the same thing as Marb Reds) for 20 dollars. That's a great deal in my opinion concidering if I bought 10 packs of marbs at a gas station it would be 100 dollars.

I don't smoke many cigarettes, but even I occasionally pick up a pack of Blacks. Don't smoke them around people unless you're willing to share. Whenever I light one, it seems like there are at least half a dozen people looking to "borrow" one. Even some non-smokers make an exception.
