So let's move on. Destiny has been BMing a lot recently (he was even BMing established, good players like coLGanzi on his stream). Hopefully he can learn from this, and at least attempt to refrain from the racist/ constant BM in the future. He needs to realize a majority of his viewers indeed like his personality, but would prefer an established figure in SC2 not to call a Korean a Gook. first of all, i'm actually an avid viewer of destiny's stream and i honestly think him being him is entertainment. that's why i watch his stream and i'm sure that's why many people do as well.
however, to give my personal thoughts on this, he had this coming and i'm finally glad it its happened. i dont mind him bm'ing people who stream snipe and cheese him to disrespect him etc. but what i do mind is him bm'ing and using racial slurs against people who don't do anything except... beat him. though it may be a form of cheese, destiny bm'ing them gets out of line wayyyy to much.
i saw this especially when he played on the korea server. bm'ing people on the NA server to troll is one thing, but bm'ing people on the korea server who are actually really well mannered is so fucked up i couldn't stand it. and when i saw that, i stopped watching him stream. i really hope he realizes this and fixes his problems. don't get me wrong, i find his stream hiliarious to watch, but there's a line and he just needs to realize what he can cross and what he can't.

I am a huge destiny fan and stream viewer from the start and do enjoy a lot of little bm he pulls off which is funny or creative.
I still think that he sometimes crosses the line regarding comments or bm which comes over racist.
Of cause its hard to find the right line regarding those statements as a streamer and community member and i am not saying that I think that destiny himself is a racist or a bad person.
From my point of view you just shouldn't say those kind of things regardless if you are a streamer, player, caster or whatever!

But I can't help to feel like extensive use of stupid words 'defuses' them. Like when I hear 'nigger' I think of rap music and it sounds like 'bro' to me. If I called someone 'bastard' I wouldn't even think a split second of 'illegitimate children'.
Then again, I am not English and its words all seem less powerful and unemotional to me.
It is like that for everyone. Difference is, we are attempting to provide a professional setting in E-sports for SC2, and as much as I love Destiny, he doesn't co-ordinate well with that forward because of his consistent need to rage and curse. Most people don't have a problem with it if it is subtle and used once or twice, but it's frustratingly continuous. But that's beside the point, we're witch-hunting, not because we all feel like the words he uses are meant for a racist connotation or that the words he uses are meant to display the feeling of their original usage to hurt those against him, but because we need E-sports to grow with an attitude that doesn't substantiate any sponsors' questioning of the legitimacy and professionalism of video gaming sports.
Or at least that's my understanding of it.
