Day 5 What started as a light rain quickly turned into a torrential flood. Water splashed through the canyon north of the town, carrying with it a large amount of silt, dirt, and other debris. The lake at the top of the ridge began to spill over, causing a flash flood near the town. Cunning as they were, the mafia did not let this opportunity go to waste. As meeple walked upstairs that night, he saw the floodwaters approaching his house. Unafraid of the future destruction, meeple thought that the city walls would definitely protect his house, which was right behind the wall. He climbed up one of the wall watch towers and began to eat cherries while enjoying the pleasant atmosphere, watching the moonlight beaming down on the plains and hearing the turbulent waters crashing in the distance. Suddenly, however, meeple swallowed an entire cherry as the events unfolded before his eyes. He could no longer see the waves of thick dirty water flow towards the town. All he could see was darkness moving across the fields. Then meeple realized what was happening. As one of the waves flew into the air, meeple could see that the entire wave had become filled with miniscule black creatures. The thick, viscous fluid rapidly approached the town, and meeple was still shocked and unable to respond as the wave overtook him, splashing over the wall and encasing him and his house in a pile of black sticky goo. Right next door, Fishball had been preparing his list of suspects when he noticed that his neighbor’s house had been coated with a dark goo. Wanting to investigate, Fishball walked over to find the house in shambles. He tried to enter, but upon stepping on the goo, he was unable to move further. Giving up, Fishball walked up near the tower on the wall where meeple had been. He expected to find a sea of black water on the outside, but all he could see was bubbling blackness reminiscent of tar. Not a single drop of water to be found anywhere. Fishball turned around, and was ultimately greeted by a strange-looking short man blocking the path back to his house. The man just smiled and motioned over to the little hump on the wall that was meeple. “Unless you do just as I ask, all your little medic friends will die like the plague. You have been warned.” Just as he was about to turn away, he pinned an envelope with instructions on the wall. Fishball, however, irate at the man’s stubborn yet cool air, charged him hoping to catch him by surprise. The man however, turned around and viciously slashed at Fishball’s throat, stopping him dead cold before his feet. Seeing that his partner had succeeded, the last Mafioso decided that luck was on his side. He lurched through the shadows, eager to finish his last kill. After all, his target was the lowly decafchicken. Upon reaching the house, Caller knocked on the door. For some reason, decafchicken’s friend opened the door, and was slightly suspicious of Caller, and accused him of his unwanted behaviors: rigging the market, sabotaging the financial system, and supporting the aristocracy of money. Caller however, was not disturbed by the accusations, smashed the door in, knocking decafchicken’s friend to the floor. He soon found decafchicken in the kitchen. Unfortunately, decafchicken had time to prepare due to his friend’s attempt to stall, and thrust a kitchen knife at Caller’s chest. But Caller was well prepared, and began to taunt decafchicken, who quickly became angry. In a matter of moments, Caller’s had decafchicken decapitated by his own knife. Content, Caller thought he should finish the job completely, and walked toward the front door, ready to finish decafchicken’s friend off. Unfortunately, the man was gone. Frantic, Caller ran out into the street, looking for any signs of the missing man. But he did not see his doom approaching or hear the voices of warning coming from the bridge above. In a matter of seconds, Caller was turned into a pincushion as he was hit from the side. The only traces of any action came from the dust cloud that was disappearing in the distance. The other side of town brought less drama, and a shadowy figure lurked in the background. The only tipoff was a slight trail of blood on the ground. Figuring that maybe one of the other Mafiosi had stumbled upon his victim, the shadowy figure began following the trail, which led him to a deserted chapel near the town square. Nikon stood over the altar, trying to pour some of the blood into the brass bowl. As he bowed his head, he grabbed the censor sitting in its stand next to the altar, and spat into the bowl before lighting it on fire. The mixture of fat and oil combusted into flames and illuminated the room, making the Mafioso shrink back behind one of the curtains in order to avoid detection. The Mafioso waited as Nikon cleaned up his blood and cleared out the bowl, whose contents had now been consumed. As Nikon finally exited the building, the Mafioso struck. He jumped out from behind the curtain, dagger in hand, and plunged it into Nikon’s shoulder. Dragging Nikon back over to the altar, the Mafioso filled the bowl halfway with blood before chopping Nikon up into six pieces and placing him on the altar. The only thing left as evidence as the killer left the chapel was a pile of body parts soaked in blood and fat burning on the altar as the smell of burning flesh filled the room… The time for entertainment was over. Soon, the town would wake up and begin their hard work once again. *** Tonight is rainbow night! Caller of the Sumiyoshi Family is dead. Fishball the miller is dead. meeple the medic is dead. Nikon the townie is dead. decafchicken the townie is dead. Sumiyoshi KP has now been reduced to 2. Day 5 voting for lynch will begin now and will end on Saturday at 7:00PM EST. Like I said, I'm not surprised that I'm dead, but haha @ Miller. I would have lots to say if I weren't dead. Good luck town. Think twice and play smart.

Btw if johnny is mafia like he states and also gambino like he states would the other family simply not hit him? surely by his still being here that makes him sumiyoshi or am i missing something? Sumiyoshi probably spent a night hitting no one for one of two reasons: 1) they're dumb and legitimately missed. 2) they wanted to let the numbers of gambino/sumiyoshi even out to prevent the other team from cutting a deal or something.

I'm starting to worry about that too. However at this point I don't think we have any reason to not believe him. And anyways, it's not like we don't have other people to lynch. I think it's evident that one of our lynches should be tree.hugger, if for not any other reason, Ver was highly suspicious of him. tree.hugger has yet to make any real contribution to the town, and has made one shaky post about how we should not kill him.

I'd say we also need to kill scamp to see if chezinu is legit, but i'm pretty sure the clues today are pretty blatant when it comes to captain drainage. Interestingly enough, the encasement in black goo that I originally thought would be something between meeple and malongo ended up killing meeple and reinforcing the malongo link. Malongo typically posts a lot more than he does. That said, we need to get some credible information on if chez is lying through his teeth at us, which prioritizes scamp over him.

Used to be because chez had zero clue links besides that potential 'he took a shit' one, but the recent wave of black crap with creatures in it thing identifies with chez's picture as well. Which means the original stain clue is more just a black substance clue.

And is it just me, or is it clearly obvious that Caller was killed by J-spazz? I'm 100 percent positive now that L and Chez are in the same family. The only problem is that it wastes our double-lynch to target them both, but at least we have two more.

Well awesome. The town and mafia are now even. And is it just me, or is it clearly obvious that Caller was killed by J-spazz? I'm 100 percent positive now that L and Chez are in the same family. The caller clue thing seems to point to Dozko at the start, then j-spazz at the end.

At this point, you're spamming the thread more than Chezinu is. Not to mention you haven't pressed Chez for any info whatsoever. You also don't seem to mind that he's being his usual waste of space. Your only plan to see about his legitimacy has been to kill me. On top of all that, you never apologized for being wrong about Redtooth, and now you want to lead the town again? Plain and simple: you're not good for the town.
