Throughout the centuries I have been trained in the art of assassination. I am an agent of chaos, the leader of a powerful Mafia. However, despite my, our, power, the Mafia have been forced to depart from Earth. After the machines took over, humanity was enslaved. Those who resisted were wiped out. The remainder of the syndicate has relocated to a new planet, and we have taken control of one of the major continents. However, resources are scarce, and so we have set our sights upon the small, remote island known as Liquidia. Underneath Liquidia is the largest remaining source of Vespene gas, and we, the Mafia, seek to control it. I have assembled a strike force of seven individuals, myself included, to take over the island’s small populace. We have easily infiltrated the city, more like a town, and we are ready to execute the first stage. They day of reckoning has come. I am in place on the bus, and there are very few people on it besides me. I see the driver, his name is Incognito; he is a nice fellow, but ultimately he must die for this plan to come to fruition. There is a man sitting behind him, holding a cup of steaming coffee and reading the daily newspaper. I do not know who this man is, but he seems dangerous. I must be careful of the briefcase at his feet. One more man is on the bus, and he is a known enemy to the Mafia. Ver sits in the back every day, silently watching. I must be quick if I am to take him down. There are a few other people, but they are of no importance. We are minutes away from the start. I keep glancing nervously at my watch. 10:55. 10:56. 10:57. Three minutes to go, and still no sign of trouble. The rest of the passengers have disembarked. It is just myself, Ver, and the briefcase man—I have determined that he is a lawyer—along with Incognito. We are arriving at the destination, and it is time to act. As I rise out of my seat, I withdraw the handgun I had kept concealed in my pocket. Whirling around, I shoot at Ver’s head, only to find that he is no longer there. Where did he go? Turning back around to the front, Incognito the bus driver has also vanished. I console myself with killing the man with the coffee cup, blowing his brains out over the floor. As I stop to check his name, I see one word: Qatol. I am ecstatic, since his death makes things easier. Suddenly, I feel a sharp pain in my back. I turn around and Ver is there, stabbing at me with a long knife. I withdraw my own knife, and we lock blades, as the bus starts swerving. A bump in the road—what was that? I look back, and I see that Incognito the Bus Driver Ninja has been killed by his own speeding vehicle. The time is 10:59. I will be too late. With one arm fighting Ver, I reach into my overcoat and pull the trigger. As onlookers watch in horror, the speeding bus explodes, killing flamewheel the Godfather and Ver the Ninja. Just kidding, flamewheel survives. But then a random bolt of lighting strikes the bus. And then he is dead. Qatol the Blue Lawyer is now dead. Incognito the Bus Driver Ninja is now dead. flamewheel the Mafia Godfather has been struck by lightning. Ver the Italicized Ninja is now dead. My name is flamewheel, and this is my final message. Fear not, my Mafia brethren. My death is only just the beginning. The game has started. Day 1 of TL Mafia XXX will run for 48 hours and will end on Sunday, Aug 08 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00).
