wow c9 coming to katowice is real nice. havent watched any gpl since the tpa vs tps final a few months ago but the name alone is pretty excited and an additional team from Korea? SICK!

CJ teams seems like a realistic choice, they've a long history of traveling to IEMs. Blaze would be amazing. Not sure who I'd like to see from Europe now that Fnatic seem to be in a slump of biblical proportions.

Or wait nevermind CJ doesn't seem realistic at all, they have a Masters match on the 13th and IEM starts 14th.

Prediction from EU: Roccat (First in LCS and more importantly they'll also serve as the home representatives which IEM likes to do)
From Korea: Jin Air Stealths (Kinda stabbing in the dark since it can't be a team from masters at the time so CJ entus and IM are out and I doubt samsung and KT want to travel to Poland and back for masters, Jin Air Stealths are a really strong team that somehow choked in qualifiers so it'd probably be in Jin Air's interests to get stealths any showings they can until next OGN)
As for TPA they're still looking good, 5-0 in their GPL group (Though they got the lucky draw of not having TPS/AHQ and instead got yoe flash wolves who continue to suck and are actually at the bottom of a group with full louis and manilla eagles). Since TPS made recent roster changes and TPA are reigning GPL champions it makes more sense. Though AHQ would have probably been better imo

And Champions Spring begins on the 12th which might exclude some more teams from the possible list

I think if it would be easy to schedule Champions' so that a team like, say, SKT T1 would be able to attend IEM. OGN pls
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.

If SKT were being represented I'm almost positive SKT would send S over K. Kkoma would want them to get more international experience. SKT K are so well known at this point that they don't need to win outside tournaments whereas putting S out there would get them more fans who don't know that much about them.

IEM will be amazing though. This is TPA's chance to show the world how strong they are, but I still think they'll get overwhelmed at this point. Not really. They are both academy/B-teams. YG is iG's 2nd team and WE.Academy is WE's "academy" team, but actually the 3rd (?) team behind WE and PE, unless PE is a separate entity now.

Yea you're just wrong LOL. Like, you're watching Chinese teams play vs. other Chinese teams so it looks lackluster (and yes, LPL is weaker than before, at least right now), but they're still miles ahead of LCS.

Also for an example of how bad PE is please refer to the WE vs. PE rapefest that's currently occurring. 10k gold difference at 15 minutes, 16k at 21 minutes, completely outclassed.

Honestly, it was mostly iG's play that was pretty terrible. WE was okay. If they win it'll probably be through superior laning phase since NA lanes suck. C9 should just lane swap any time they play internationally.

Despite playing for Frost in their most recent Masters match vs SKT looks like LirA is on his way out. LirA has changed his ID away from CJ Entus 리라 (LirA). Looks like Frost is going ahead with Swift as their new jungler.

Ah well, I still prefer KTB over the Stealths, maybe they can come in big again. On the bright side I've actually no idea who will do well this tournament and who won't. So many wildcards.
