I have a sense of humor i can see the humor in it even if it's a slight poke at me lol. For map vetos...veto all the huge maps, they are terrible for mech, polar, yeonsu, habitation station anything small are ok for mech. The only difficulties you'll have or anyone with mech over bio is it requires a ton more game knowledge on how to respond to what the opponent is doing because there are almost an infinite number of ways to play against mech and they all work and all have different responses.
