Its impressive and it makes his stream far more interesting. I hope he does not count his 2-day hiatus against the week he promised to do live commentary/analysis. But maybe he does so with his 90 day ban ...

Stating the obvious is what idiots bash idra for doing, they call it "BM". On May 08 2011 11:14 Pokedude1013 wrote: So guys... when's the stream coming back up he is commenting Week 5 of NASL, so probably after next week

Also, if anyone would mind explaining to me, how will IdrA's stream work for the next three months? I'm assuming he won't be able to come on himself to set it to live, so who'll do it for him? How will we know when he's streaming when he can't set it live himself? Thanks.

There's an option to make it update automatically that scans and will automatically set the status to online on TL. It can take up to 10 minutes according to the option you select to enable it. This all assumes he will even stream during the duration of his ban.

Actually, if I read correctly, he can still do that if he wants to, as his ban does not affect if he shows up on the stream list or not. He can still set his stream to active.

I'm still not sure if he can set it himself, because I thought you lost access when you get banned? However, if there's an auto option, then all's well. I don't know if he'll stream or not, but on the off-chance he does, at least we'll know about it. :p It's up to him really, if he wants to keep streaming or not. If he doesn't then I'll just catch his tournament games and be thankful for those.

Idra being banned on TL doesn't affect his ability to stream. Teamliquid and Justin.tv aren't related. He has streamed before while being banned on TL. He could easily turn his stream online despite him being banned. Not streaming is just his choice." I don't understand why people think his ban prevents him from streaming. I've watched him stream in the past when he's been banned. If he chooses not to stream, then that makes me sad (because I'm a fan of his). I hope he continues to stream during his ban, and that has absolutely nothing to do with his ban sentence. Whether he decides to stream or not is completely up to him.

I mean, he could still stream he just found a loophole He didn't "dodge his deal" For one, he got JP his 20k. It's the viewers that expect something. He did stream with commentary for 2 days, and has not said that he will not be doing it anymore in the future.

Whether he decides to stream or not is completely up to him. If you're posting this cause of what I said, I know he can still stream. jTV, or any streaming site for that matter, have nothing at all to do with TL. All I was wondering about, is how he'll show up in the TL side-bar. From the "Idra Banned for 90 Days" thread: Idra's stream will still be listed in the stream section. Our stream list is an informational resource much like the TLPD, Calendar, or Liquipedia. We believe for these resources to function properly, they must be comprehensive and complete and thus we do not remove banned pro players from them. I was simply wondering how he'll be able to set his channel to be live or not. On TL, you need to set your channel live with your TL account for it to show up in the sidebar, though apparently there's an automatic option as well. That's all I was asking about, how he'll set his channel on TL live so that it will appear in the sidebar, because I thought that feature is removed when you get banned.

That may be in a commercial break, though. Because i live in Brazil and don't get any commercials (don't use adblock nor anything like it).
