he is casting excellent hochdeutsch (standard/higher german). but he is really fast talking and it is spoken fluent german, not written. so foreigners should have decent problems figure out non english words. sorry, maybe you overestimate your german skills :p

(ps i am really happy he is not talking dialect because even for a native german, that would be really hard to understand if your are not the same native dialect. trust me, sometimes german is like a new language even to native speakers.

From what I have experienced in the past Khaldor speaks hochdeutsch but, as vabu said, quite quickly. That, in combination with a foreigner's rather limited vocabulary, makes him at times hard to understand. Even so, the energy with which he casts and the parts I do understand more than make up for it--one of my favorite casters, up there with Day9. I just wish i could get his stream to work

Haha may be true, but I'm dutch... And alot of german - dutch words are kind of the same, so that makes it easier for me than for you I guess!

Actually my poor Deutsch ( learned via Eurosport and RTL2 more than 10 years ago ) does wonders. I understand 90% , which is more than enough. And thx to Khaldor it goes up to 120% which makes the stream just superior. Keep up the good work.

sad you stopped casting after ro16, you could have casted all quarterfinals too.

dunno what happened there maybe you confused it.
also dunno if teamliquid would have been ok with a german restream of the semifinals and finals.
would have been really nice.

i heard something like tl did not address any replay to you. That would have been really really poor of tl, if thats the case you should contact a tl admin and friendly just ask them what happened there. i cannot imagine them featuring you and then let you stand with empty hands while all other streams get some reps delivered.

Actually I was the only stream allowed to stream the Ro8 live, which I did. I didn't stop after the Ro16.

The TL guys did an amazing job, there's nothing to blame them for

The tournament went very smooth and I had a great time streaming it

Thanks again for your comments here in the forum btw.! I'm going to upload the VODs with Day9 soon, probably today or tomorrow. I'll post a link here as well.
