yea im using procaster, let me know if it looks bad. I definitely felt a bit of delay once it was running in game.

edit - I think I'm gonna turn it off actually, it's too laggy

Nice roach/infestor/BL vs hydra usage.
Shouldn't this guy made some roaches besides hydras himself?
Pure hydra like that looks quite vulnerable to fungal.

Some people seem to think hydra + Infestor are the optimal units and all you need in zvz. or even some roach/hydra/infestor thing.

But imho, it's roach/infestor. And you only need muta or hydra if they are going air. And since ultralisks now can't be stunned by fungal and they rape the shit out of armored roaches, broodlords are the tier 3 go to unit. Especially since roaches are far cheaper on gas, it means you get more upgrades or infestors, or just have more gas saved up for your broodlords.

Hydras really only do well on creep and in tight places where the roaches can't get a good concave.

Yeah that makes a lot of sense, but from my experience (mid diamond) there is often a point when in tier 2 you have only roach/infestor and if your opponent is going mutas and you don't see the spire on time you're usually screwed. That's probably why people add hydras to the roach/inf mix.
I suppose with good scouting roach/infestor is fine.
