Just wanted to say that I am a huge fan of your casting, and I enjoy your casts a lot. I personally don't approve of the use of the "n-word" in public,* and I feel that Evil Geniuses had to make the move they did. That said, I also don't approve of labeling anyone a racist for the rest of their lives. Using "political correctness" to flame and terrorize someone is also wrong. People have a right to be angry, but we all need to be as open-minded as we claim we are, and allow for Orb to be forgiven. I personally believe you when you say those are not your views, and it was instead immature outbursts. However, I do not want you to be ostracized by the community. I feel that if you do not make a greater effort (and soon), people will always remember you by this, which would be a tragedy. In the paragraphs that follow, I am not judging you, but instead giving advice on what might help the situation. Realistically, it is going to be difficult for you to win back certain sections of the community, and you will (and in my opinion should) have to take a big step toward proving that those are not your views, or are no longer your views. Holding an open session and talking to people might really help. Call your friends. Ask to go on State of the Game, Live on 3, etc. not you explain yourself, but instead to apologize and show the community that you will work to make amends. If you feel comfortable taking flack, you might even ask any offended viewers of those shows to send in comments or questions so that you can speak with them directly. Don't be combative, be you (your normal, nice, mature self). There is even race-issue counseling you might want to look into as it will show that you are very serious, and you are making a tremendous effort. Do anything and everything you can to show that you will not disappear. You are here to stay, and you are terribly sorry for what happened. Ask for forgiveness. If people wish to think you are a racist, let them. But show that even if you were a racist, you have changed. Racism is not ingrained. It is learned and unlearned. Show them that (even if you never meant it in the first place). You are a great caster and a pleasure to watch. I wish you the best. You fail to understand that he wasnt saying it in a hateful way. Its could have been replaced with any other "bad" word. You say that he should have treated it like he was looking that person in the face(in person). But if you think about that point; why would orb be raging in real life that badly? People who call black people nigger in real life may not even be racist. It depends on context really. I have black friends who call us "nigga" and some of my friends respond back to him with that saying something silly like "my nigga!". I dont do that because it just feels awkward for me. But to your point if you call the wrong person anything not even racial you can get shot by some idiot kid, so I agree with that. | ||

I will always believe we are the pioneers, as apposed to conforming to the standard of now, we as a community should take it on ourselves to set the standard of tomorrow.
