TSL3 Website Released!

Now hear this! Just in time for the Round of 16: The Official PokerStrategy.com TSL3 Website

www.PokerStrategyTSL3.com

Alright, so what have we got here?

Fully Interactive Results Bracket
Your one stop destination for tournament results and VODs. Go ahead, don't be shy. Click anywhere on the brackets. Whoa, is that an awesome pop-up VOD player there? Also, it's completely spoiler free due to our revolutionary new "Show Results" check box technology. Because here at TL, we know spoilers are serious business.

Dedicated News Archive
While I know GSL can be pretty damn hot sometimes, and I'm sure everyone has the utmost respect for the OSL, everyone knows the TSL is the mother lovin' business. So much so, that it deserves its own separate news archive. We've got interviews for those who want MC's latest lecture in pwnology, match-up analysis going on so you can impress your friends at your weekly TSL viewing parties, and result wrap-ups so you can experience your favorite matches again in the form of an epic tales woven by the finest bards.

Fully Actualized Schedule
The lack of an easily accessible TSL3 broadcast schedule has been a thorn in the side of jet-setters and world-movers everywhere. Billions of dollars in profits have been lost, and dozens of populist revolutions thwarted due to the sudden realization of "Oh god, TSL is on today? DROP EVERYTHING."

No more, my friends. With our convenient, one-click schedule available online, you can easily see when your favorite players will be playing and plan accordingly. No longer will your weekend plans be abruptly canceled, even if it was just a chicken and waffle brunch.

VODs
For your grandparents, who still haven't figured out how to use Youtube.

Player Profiles
Remember that time a few weeks ago, when you were passionately arguing with your friend about how Adelscott was gonna walk all over MVP? Your pal said "MVP won a GSL, can't beat that!" And you began to reply "Oh yeah, well Adelscott's PvT win ratio is... pretty good... I think... yeah... I mean, he's won a ton of tournaments! Like... that thing... and that other one in Europe... and, uh, yeah."

We're sorry the official TSL3 site wasn't out then, because then you could have easily navigated to the players page and pulled out profiles for all 32 TSL players. With links to our extensive TLPD database, every important statistic about the TSL players is available to you.

Also, I suspect I'm not alone in that I never tire of staring lasciviously at Glider's amazing Pro-gamer portraits.

TSL Website Testimonials

"Before I was just a bronze league newb, but thanks to PokerStrategyTSL3.com, now I can smile at Idra in Grand Master! PokerStrategyTSL3.com, you're such a pal! "
-Scott Haussman, Lexington

"I used to wonder what my purpose in life was, and wandered from place to place trying to find the answers to all my questions. Just when I was about to resign myself to a meaningless void of nihilistic existence, I found PokerStrategyTSL3.com. Now, everything is clear to me, and I have realized my calling in life. Thanks PokerStrategyTSL3.com!"
-Hassan Khosa, Lahore

"As a kid, I was always something of a troublemaker. When I finally snapped out of it after spending too many years in the wrong crowd, I found my life to be a mess with no future prospects. Thankfully, a friend introduced me to PokerStrategyTSL3.com. Now I'm enrolled in a local university, have an internship at a respectable company, and have a bright future ahead of me. Thank you PokerStrategyTSL3.com, I owe everything to you!"
-Ksenia Karazin, Sevastopol

So guys, if you like what you just heard, then check it out. I think you'll enjoy what you'll find.

Thanks to R1CH, Kennigit and Guro for the site!

Awesome site. I'm glad it finally exists, I was getting tired of having to go to Liquipedia to find the bracket.
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

This is pretty awesome.
Is this going to be solely used for TSL 3, or will it be modified to accomodate other TL events in the future?

As of right now it looks amazing, definitely showcasing the commitment and high dedication that TL has to it's events.
It's things like this that make me proud to say I'm a part of TL.

This is amazing. The work Team Liquid puts into eSports is just incredible, this website is so "noob friendly" as someone said :D

Sad to see only 3 zerg players in the round of 16. I am definately rooting for Sen or WhiteRa to win this thing, although I cant shake this sneaky suspicion that MC is gonna tear up the place given the chance. WhiteRa, go for the throat man!

Chill edit: I'm staff and I never knew this was coming so I think it's safe to assume Day didn't know it was coming

This is amazing!

I especially love the schedule and interactive bracket.

One thing you might want to include on the site is a breakdown of the prizes. Replays would also be good.

Cool idea for a website based around it. In a good way, it takes the tournament away from a "forum setting" and makes it feel a lot more professional.

Each day I wake up and punch the bacon out of a pig. This bacon is actually cooked to perfection by the friction of leaving the pig's body. After I'm done with my morning bacon, I insult my bathroom until it cries hard enough to take a shower. Later, I push my car to class since driving takes too long, and besides, I could use the exercise. Upon arrival, I slap the professor and they in turn thank me as the whole class cartwheels out of the room to give me time to learn important things. I then brandish my *insert portable device here* and enjoy a good browse of TLnet.

After each eventful morning, TLnet does not disappoint (unless you stumble into a(n) (im)balance thread). After so long of reading, the staff does such a great job. Thank you TL for being so awesome.

The website looks AMAZING. Automatically bookmarked in my handy-dandy Chrome browser.

Actually, the only criticism I can make is that the TSL1 and TSL2 websites had a bit more personality to them. TSL3 looks really clean, intuitive, and professional, but I have a nagging feeling that maybe it looks too clean compared to the TSL1 and TSL2 websites. I sorta miss the custom fonts of the TSL1 website and the really cool background fanart for the TSL2 site.

Otherwise, the TSL3 website looks absolutely phenomenal. I'm really digging all the features.

I was going to send this as a PM to the guys who made the website but i may as well stick it on here. I usually just lurk from afar but sometimes i feel like certain things need to be said, because otherwise the people that deserve to know it may never realise what they're doing.

I'd just like to say, to whomever/everyone concerned who created the TSL3 website. Thank you for setting one up again like you did in the TSL2, which ironically was the first tournament i ever really followed (I found this place when watching the TeamLiquid attack on youtube so was a bit of a late comer.) And thank you obviously for another TSL.

I still think to this day it was the thing that made me change my opinion of Starcraft from being just another game that i would go back to now and again to play for fun, to wanting to play it more competitively.

The last couple of weekends i've had friends around for a few beers over the weekend and so put the TSL3 on the TV downstairs. I thought after watching Day1 and seeing it looking so sharp that maybe they'd enjoy it. It was a bit of a shot in the dark but I was just going to go upstairs and leave them if they didn't anyways so it was worth a try :p. And although i had to explain A LOT of things to them. Thanks to the commentators and the quality of content, they really enjoyed it plus picked it up quite easily! In the end i was even going through the past histories/results of the players that played. Even my girlfriend watched it ffs. These are people who have never been interested in really playing non-console games never mind watching others play them over a stream. Heck it even made one go buy the game and he's just completed the campaign. Unbelievably i had to lend him my old Brood War and Starcraft disc because he thought the campaign was so great and i just needed to show him how poor the plot/lore was compared to the brilliance of the original .

The one problem i did have though was showing them how to navigate around this site to find the brackets, who won the previous games, VODs etc... Because i think it's important for them to at least see the tournament develop almost like a World Cup. I really wanted them to get the full experience like i did a couple of years back.

This website literally provides everything they could need though in terms of content! VODS, Games, Profiles, images of the players so they can at least identify some, countdowns so they know exactly when to watch the next games, the lot. I even love how the site doesn't look generic, it looks organic and the layout/scheme flows very nicely (the drawings of the players from glider are out of this world btw and go with the whole site in general so well) and that's coming from a Graphic Designer.

So thanks TeamLiquid, I'm not usually one to be a suck up but i feel you deserve my merits. Thanks for all those years ago doing the events that got me into the scene in the first place. And helping me maybe get a few more on board in the same way you got me.

Who knows, I might finally have somebody to play 2v2's with when i'm bored that isn't Random soon XD.

If MLG Dallas scored 2 on a scale of 1-10 in terms of presentation and usability, TSL3 has to be a 14!
Great Website, love the bracket-viewer with the linked vods.

Very very nice! TL always brings it!
There was once a dream that was Esports. You could only whisper it. Anything more than a whisper and it would vanish... Now is the time to make that dream a reality!

The design of this site blows away the sites devoted to MLG, IEM, NASL, IGN and GOM!

The only thing I could add is that for the Rd. of 16 I wish the names were links that updated the player profile box in the top right. Otherwise such a nice layout!

thank you so much, much easier having a website, watching the vods now seeing that youtube is only thing that seems to work on work computers, cant watch streams at all

Edit: Actually anyone know why they arent relaeasing the replays of these games???

So can we download the replays?

No, for a variety of reasons replays of official TSL3 games will not be available for download. Maintaining the name of the PokerStrategy.com TSL3 is not possible if we allow downloading of replays from the tournament, thus replays are not released. We cannot release the replays without relinquishing creative control of the tournament to third party casters who may or may not chose to properly credit sponsorship and tournament organizers. Keeping replays internal also keeps some level of privacy for the players who come up with new builds specifically for the tournament.

This and many other questions are answered in the TSL3 Frequently Asked Questions thread.

Just to note, the background image doesn't scale correctly if you are on a 1920x1200 screen, or larger. My guess is that it was made for 1680x1050 screens.

Here is a screenshot for what i mean.

Full Interactive Bracket, the best thing ever?!

Seriously, I love how it links the next games, absolutely zero chance of spoiling (unless you click Next a bunch of time), and yeah, just amazing work
