Cool stuff :D

You could also add stuff like how many invited players are left / open bracket players etc.

Sad so many liquid players out of the liquid starleague TT

Naniwa vs Ret should not be lag dependent seeing as Ret is back in The Netherlands.

I think you want 3/3 from TSL2 seeding to be 100% instead of 33%. Excellent work regardless. It's interesting to see how the TLOpen qualified players succeeded far more often than the Korean/Asian Invited players.

nice stats.

BUT about 70% of the top koreans and 40% of the top europeans are missing.

For na... there is some of root... and Kiwikaki/TT1/Select most likely

Tried to kept the OP as objective as possible, here's the editorial:

Factors that strongly over-perform:
Training - Europe, America
Seeding - Open Event, TSL2 placement

Factors that slightly over-perform:
Server - EU\NA

Factors that has no influence on performance:
Region - All
Seeding - Open Ranking

Factors that slightly under-perform:
Server - K\A

Factors that strongly under-perform:
Training - Korea
Seeding - Korean/Asian Invites
Thank God and gunrun.

How many of the matches were affected by lag/delay? I'm concerned about players that might have unfairly lost due to lagginess (MVP?)
Second favorite strategy game of all time: Starcraft. First: Go (aka Wei Qi, Paduk, or Igo)

My interpretation of the data is that lag has marginal affect on the outcome of the matches. Instead, the strongest factor that affect the outcome is prior involvement with the TSL. Those that were heavily involved in the past (through TSL1&2 or qualifiers) made more of an effort to prepare for the matches, while those that was invited in made less of effort in preparation.

For example,

Idra is an American that received an invite who practices in Korea, he lost playing in NA server to CruncheR, an American that won an Open Event while training in NA.

Ret is an European that received an invite who practices in Korea, he lost playing in EU server to NaNiwa, an European that won an Open Event while training in EU.

Sen is an Asian that placed in TSL2 who practices in Korea (server), he won playing in EU server (presumely) against Fenix, an American (Peru) that qualified through ranking while training in NA.

Thank God and gunrun.

Great info man. That's pretty interesting how everything broke down. Well done.

Can you do it by SC2 race? How many Zergs, Terrans, Toss'es made it through?
