Nice to see the foreign players taking it to the koreans. Edit: Just got done reading MC's interviews...and honestly I don't know what to say. His attitude is totally unbecoming of a world class player. Don't get me wrong, he deserves to be a little cocky, I mean he's won GSL twice now, so there is no doubt he is probably one of (if not THE) best players in the world. But seriously??? I think that attitude is completely unnacceptable tbh. The whole of the E-sports world has their eyes on MC, and he isnt exactly acting very sportsman like. Not only does his attitude paint a bad picture of him, but it detracts from E-sports as a whole. He needs to be an example, and show fans and sponsors that E-sports is the real deal, and not just a bunch of arrogant kids playing games. Anywho, I'll probs get banned for that but w/e...

It's the difference between tact and lack of tact. And the fact that Ciara lost to 3gate pressure with MC not losing a single unit makes MC's comment true in my eyes: He's not that great. That is, however, not the same thing as saying "He's bad". Personally, I don't see Ciara's lack of gg as BM, since it really wasn't a good game, but since it seems to be plain old traditional manners by now, I can see where MC's coming from. In most tournaments people gg even when they get cheesed out in obnoxious ways. Frankly, I'd avoid that kind of over analysis of words when reading translated interviews. The little nuances tend to get garbled a bit when they are translated. In this specific case, what he said in Korean definitely has the vibe of calling Ciara a bad player.

Seems people want to hear what they want to hear. Or read in this case. I doubt even Ciara would say he is a great player either because from his interview he seemed to think he was the underdog.

MC was just better than Ciara full stop. The first game was just an amazing show of micro on MC's part when he micro-ed his zealots so well to block the lings from surrounding the stalkers. It gave me chills. Whitera's win was deserved. Although I must say for all the talk that Loner isn't playing very well nowadays, he did give a good fight. Hasuorbs I think deserved to win. He prepared well for HuK (based on his comments in his interview) and played good games. His cheese in the 3rd set was unfortunately not spotted by HuK and HuK cannot blame anybody but himself. In GSL you always see the Korean players check every corner of the map let alone their base for proxy pylons or bunkers etc. He just wasn't careful and at the top level you will get punished for it unfortunately. Morrow's win felt like MC's win in the GSL final, ie games that Morrow won were identical with Morrow using the same strat. Have to say though that it looked pretty damn awesome when banelings blow up the racks and the SCVs. Awesome games thus far. Can't wait for this coming weekend's games!

I personally don't think it's that unsportsmanlike, he never comes out and says, X player is the WORST player ever he just asserts himself in a big way, if anything it helps fuel the spirit of competition as when anyone goes up against him it adds the extra factor of "who will knock MC down a peg" rather then just the typical, good player X vs good player Y doing pregame interviews with all the humbleness and nicieties.
