I mean, yeah there's eight, but you'd think you'd see almost every top player in these. There were a lot of other events taking place at the same time today iirc, so maybe they didn't want to double-book themselves. Or maybe some of the NA players are confident that they will win a NA TL Open and didn't want to waste time going for the EU one.

I like the cumulative format though. It will kill some of the arguments that so and so qualifies via a "weaker" server. Here's for a succesful next 7 TL opens.

Everyone has the same opportunity and the same cost to play tournaments on both servers. That's fair. That some people are better, which is their own accomplishment, so that it is more worthwhile to purchase two accounts, does not mean you did not get an equal chance at doing so. You did. It costs the same and you get the same for it. Your skill makes it less worthwhile to do so, that's fair too. Because oftentimes being lesser skill means you have less chance to qualify. Your server argument is one that solely has its basis in the lack of skill and not in unfairness, as everyone has the same opportunity and cost of purchasing two accounts. The fact that you need two accounts to play on two servers is not something we control, but the opportunity to participate in these tournaments is exactly equal for every player. What you are looking for is something that helps the recreational player to an advantage so that he will not have to do the same things professionals have to do (purchase two accounts). Sorry but we do not have such a thing in store for you. Sorry but your definition of "fair" doesn't exactly seem all that fair. People went ape when it was discovered that thor all in was even stronger for people who had purchased the CE because the graphical size was bigger and hid more SCV's then the standard version. Basically the stance you are taking is that in a tournament, if you pay 60 dollar entrance fee, you get 4 tries to qualify and the corresponding points, and if you pay 120 dollar entrance fee, you get 8 tries to qualify and double the points. Imagine if it were like that in Courage, would be pretty ridiculous no? Going along those lines it's pretty well known that people such as yourself who are lucky enough to get a Korean to activate your Sc2 account have an unfair advantage over everyone else because not only do you get experience playing against Korean Build Orders, but its quite simple for you to take those strategies over to other servers where players have no seen those builds. Main reason i believe it is done this way is because TL wants thee best players to qualify giving them the most opportunities to do so, and the logic is if you don't have a Euro or US account your obviously not TSL material. Flawed or not looks like its the system here to stay regardless of its possible problems. Yes its 100% Blizzard's fault, but pretending its "fair" is not a good decision imo.

I think almost all top EU players played in this one. Even SEA players like Filthy and Moonglade did as well. There are some NA players missing like the Root guys of course but i guess they dont find it worth their time to play in EU lag ( although if SEA players can play in it, i dont see why NA players cant ) I like the cumulative format though. Of those who've gone before, And we'll all be reunited, On a new and sunlit shore, Oh, when the Ukrainians go marching in Oh, when the Ukrainians go marching in Lord, how I want to be in that number When the Ukrainians go marching in And when the sun refuse to shine And when the sun refuse to shine Lord, how I want to be in that number When the sun refuse to shine And when the moon turns red with blood And when the moon turns red with blood Lord, how I want to be in that number When the moon turns red with blood Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call Lord, how I want to be in that number When the trumpet sounds its call Some say this world of trouble, Is the only one we need, But I'm waiting for that morning, When the new world is revealed. Oh When the new world is revealed Oh When the new world is revealed Lord, how I want to be in that number When the new world is revealed Oh, when the Ukrainians go marching in Oh, when the Ukrainians go marching in Lord, how I want to be in that number When the Ukrainians go marching in

Also, can't wait for the invites. We're hoping for the homestory guys to play the TL Open! We have planned it as a US tournament on purpose and have had contact with Takesen about trying to make it work. If he starts early on the day and doesn't cast till something like past midnight then it may be possible.

And that I don't even have a computer. And that my village don't even have electricity. It simply isn't fair that someone who does have electricity AND a computer AND SC2 AND another SC2 account has infinitely larger chance of qualifying than me. /sarcasm&hyperbole off. (Seriously, I'd ban people for that shit)
