Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶NonY: This will be very tough for Draco. I think Sen will destroy Draco.
▶Ret: This might just be the biggest match of the round of 16. Sen gets to play his best match up - I have to say, Draco, you better practice or you are in for a wild ride.
▶Chill: Sen.
▶IdrA: Sen.
▶Sen: ... he is an awesome player but it's ZvP we're talking about. I feel much more confident playing ZvP than I do with ZvT.
▶Odds makers: Sen (Sen has the 7th best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: I cannot predict this. I simply can't. This is the match of this round. They both deserve round of 8.
▶Plexa: Honestly, Draco didn’t perform to his highest level in 2009 but that’s no reason to write him off. Anyone with Korean experience is a dangerous competitor – and Draco is no exception. Sen is a scary opponent and is particularly good at managing large groups of units at once. Thus as you might expect he’s got a pretty sick macro oriented game, but equally he has enough skill to pull off a 2 hatch muta. I’m not even going to bother trying to call the Draco vs Sen series, if both of them are in shape then it’s going to be an absolute delight to watch and that’s all I care about at the end of the day.

GosI[Terran]Saturday, February 6th, 2010
Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶NonY: I think it will be GosI[Terran] because JF is on very little practice right now. He might perform kind of like I did against Irda but the favorite is definitely GosI[Terran]
▶Ret: This will be a very good match. If JF finds time to practice, this will be 50/50. If not, Gosi[Terran] will win 3-0 or 3-1.
▶Chill: Terran.
▶IdrA: Terran.
▶Odds makers: Gosi[Terran] (Gosi[Terran] has the 8th best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: Gosi[Terran], a very talented player, will take this. Real life has caught up to JF.
▶Plexa: Terran plays almost exclusively with Koreans (hence why he is GosI), he sleeps at Korean hours so he can practice just against them, and as you might expect, he plays a very Korean style. He played a very impressive series against Infernal in the qualifiers, and I expect that to be the precursor to him doing great things in the TSL ... we’ll have to wait and see whether IefNaij practiced enough to compete with the big boys once again.

[Pan]KabaLSunday, February 7th, 2010
Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶NonY: I think this one will be very close. There are a lot of people who say White-Ra will automatically beat Kabal but I think Kabal might win it. His PvP is good and White-Ra, while he's a very strong player, he's not that much better than anyone else. He's not dominating people. I'm going to give Kabal the edge and say he will advance.
▶Ret: TT1 did a good job in the qualifiers but this is a different match up and an even tougher player. It be really hard for TT1. I hope he can surprise us, though, because I actually like him and I hope he puts up a good fight. White-Ra.
▶Chill: White-Ra.
▶IdrA: White-Ra.
▶Odds makers: White-Ra. (White-Ra has the 4th best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: TT1 was a known hacker for a long time but he is back with a vengeance and real skill. This is actually very hard to call. People give White-Ra a lot of credit - rightfully so - but TT1 has some very strong PvP. I do think White-Ra will take it but it will be close.
▶ Plexa: White-Ra has been a top three players for a long time now and has the tournament results to back that up. He is one of the favourites for the TSL – anything less than a top 4 spot is a surprise really.

ToT)Mondragon(Sunday, February 7th, 2010
Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶NonY: I think this one is the toughest to call. It is the closest match. If Mondragon has been practicing, he will definitely win.
▶Ret: This will be one of the closest. He's been practicing ZvT and this is a nice step up - I think Mondragon will pull it out in a tight, close victory.
▶Chill: BRAT_OK.
▶IdrA: BRAT_OK.
▶Mondragon: Well, you know, ZvT is my favorite matchup
. Brat is definitely better than Shaman and it won't be as easy as it was today. I don't really expect to have much of a chance there, though I am 'lucky' because I've practiced ZvT quite a bit lately and it obviously helps me vs Brat too. There could have been worse opponents for Ro16.▶Odds makers: BRAT_OK (BRAT_OK has the 5th best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: A lot of people are saying that Mondragon will take this. I disagree. I think BRAT_OK will take this. I hear, from inside sources, that BRAT_OK is playing really well.
▶Plexa: Brat’s play tends to revolve around slightly unorthodox play – dropships, harassment, mech, fast vessels and whatnot. I would pick him as the favourite over Mondragon, and he certainly has the results from various clan wars to back this up.

iG.TarsonSunday, January 31st, 2010
Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶Ret: Tarson is definitely one of the weaker games in the top 16. This will definitely be better than Nony vs. Horror but Nony has looked surprisingly strong. Nony.
▶Chill: NonY.
▶IdrA: Nony.
▶Odds makers: Nony. (Nony has the 2nd best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: I'm impressed that Tarson has made it to this round but Nony is starting to look quite good, folks. I can see him doing quite well in this tournament. I definitely see him taking out Tarson.
▶ Plexa: Nony is such a monster, I really don’t like Tarson’s chances against him. I don’t think the TSL is going to be the place where Tarson gets to break out unfortunately, Nony is just too much of an opponent to handle.

mouz.KolllSunday, January 31st, 2010
Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶NonY: I'm going to go with Kolll. He has momentum going for him and that plays a huge role.
▶Ret: Kolll is definitely the favorite but Fenix is tricky. After Morrow, this is another match for Kolll in which all he has to do is avoid gimmicks and mistakes and he will win.
▶Chill: Kolll.
▶IdrA: Kolll.
▶Odds makers: Kolll (Kolll has the 6th best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: People count Fenix out a lot more than they should. This guy wins a lot of events, he does really well, only getting knocked out by the very top players. This will be a good match but I am giving the edge to Kolll. Expect a great series, Fenix is not afraid of Kolll at all.
▶Kolll: Fenix is a strong TvZ player and he likes to play stuff I’m weak against
▶Plexa: Kolll had some pretty big moments in 2009 – particularly his 4th place at WCG (beating Idra in the process 2-0). Many people are expecting big things from him in the TSL. Fenix vs Kolll is another matchup I can’t call – both are really talented players who are going to give us an explosive series, and I can’t wait to enjoy it.

Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶NonY: Keeping in mind Ret's results from his Courage Tournament - he beat 3 Zergs and lost to the 4th Zerg 1-2 on mess-ups - he will come into this with great confidence, very happy with his Zerg vs. Zerg. He will go ahead and destroy Castro and, barring any lag, he will beat Castro convincingly. Castro is a great player but Ret is a monster right now.
▶Chill: Ret.
▶IdrA: Ret.
▶Odds makers: Ret (Ret has the 3rd best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: Don't let Ret fool you. He is going to Hulk-smash Castro and move on with ease.

ToT)XiaOzI(Saturday, January 30th, 2010
Broadcast: 11:00 PST / 14:00 EST / 20:00 CET / 04:00 TL Time (next day)
▶Ret: I feel bad for XiaOzI. I hope he can put up a good fight but IdrA gets better every week because he's playing with progamers every week, 12 hours a day.
▶Chill: IdrA.
▶Odds makers: Idra (Idra has the best odds to win the entire TSL).
▶Artosis: Idra is just about an unstoppable beast but I would be surprised if Xiaozi didn't take at least one game.
▶Plexa: It’s no secret that IdrA is the odds on favourite to win this tournament. I really don’t think Xiaozi has got much of a shot to take out such a solid contender.
