Tell that to Kwark or others who by all rights could have made it into the tournament had they not felt they needed to play even more games to catch up to some people with imaginary points. A couple hundred points effects too many players around them in the ladder to justify allowing them to stay; even in the cases of those who would have easily made top 48 such as Dimaga and Yosh.

Now thinnk if its worth the risk to miss up on 10k $ for 200-300 points. I can understand ppl like scan mercury ribo and vasilisk who are not that good to get into 48 and got NOTHING to lose but you guys have no excuse. Im disapoint... TSL will lose on quality games but you guys deserve even bigger punishment for future TSL or similar events.

I think its like this: Players like Dimaga and Yosh reasoned it was clever to sample playstyles perhabs even test reactions to certain builds. Especially on their high level this is a way to get an adavantage over their opponents. After endless hours of grinding with the smurfs they get tired and think. Damn i beat so many top people and get 0 points doing so. Perhabs their place in q3 qualifier is even at risk and they think. i earned that fucking points, i did not even dodge, i can have at least a small piece of the cake. they transfer stats to a friend and get 2 free wins.

This leaves me guessing how many actually abused with friends or clanmates, which is harder if not impossible to track. maybe half of the top48 tried to cheat their way in... really sad what money does to people. This is valid, I think. The players DQed so far made it obvious, what about others who didn't? It's very hard to differentiate late 'series' wins that might have been done maliciously from ones that were, as people put it before, just players trying to get a shot at playing against one of the top foreigners at their best. And another question: was playing on a non-TSL account for the purposes of judging other players' strategy/style illegal by itself?
