Just that instead of spending 25 minutes for a PvT you will be able to play like 4-5 zvz during the same time. So you will get points faster ( if you have an edge ). So A rank discourages some mass gaming and more careful choosing of your opponents, but in that you're only gaining a small amount of points overall across a series of games there is a certain amount of mass gaming involved.
