zimp was just temp banned for 2 days by motbob. That account was created on 2008-11-17 10:25:39 and had 530 posts. Reason: If "they" are who I think they are, that's a pretty offensive post. It's not a good thing to blame the victim in rape cases While this is a horrible post, I don't think "they" was referring to the victims. I think it was referring to the people who rape...but either way, it is an awful post and the dude deserved it. | ||

There are a number of awful posts in that thread as a whole. Even if he was trying to "relate" to the rapists, that is generally not a smart thing to do. | ||

Frankly, I think I'd have more respect, in a hypothetical example, for someone who admitted to being racist and tried to explain the things that have helped condition that response into them than someone who made a vague post that came off as racist. At least one is conducive to discussion, if it's done reasonably. By the way, is it currently considered politically incorrect to be prejudiced against a culture?
