I wasnt calling anyone a dumbass but someone was using "hi im pro that means Im right" logic, which is extraordinarily silly. When asked why there was so much whine in that thread, I even mentioned that it was largely do to the fact that this person was intelligent and well respected, and the other person was Avilo. + Show Spoiler + This experience irks me in a couple of ways. For starters this is the fourth time I have been banned or warned over what was basically a misunderstanding or a misread. The first time I ever got banned was in a thread where I said "pffft SC2 is so broken terran can kill there own orbitals and still win." This was like a day after MMA killed his own base on testbug at MLG. I got banned for "balance whining" since i guess the mod either didnt know what happened, or didnt pick up on the sarcasm. I ended up staying banned anyway. However a later discussion with a mod told me that this one was removed from my history. I cant remember who banned me I think it might have been Empyrean. The second one was by JWD and was a complete accident since I bumped into the post button after quoting someone, and thus was banned for not posting content (similar to +1ing). I fixed this in about 10 seconds but I ended up being banned anyway. This one was removed. The third one was a ban from Nyovne since I said something sarcastic but it was taken literally instead. The difference is that this time I wrote a pretty clear sarcasm signal, that even got quoted, because I didnt want a repeat of the first ban. This one was also repealed? Can't remember. And thats my ban history. And then there was this one, for which I was about to get a full week on. This is why I am sort of confused. Stop being so aggressive and insulting in your posts. this is a large problem than just this one instance. Excuse me? I wasnt being insulting in the first place though I respect someone elses viewpoint on the matter. Since all of my previous bans are either unrelated, or completely removed, even if you think I was being aggressive or insulting, how could this be a large problem when this is the first instance? If there is something a mod would like to tell me, tell me about it then. I take it since this ban was also removed then we are straight *gang hand gesture* Honestly TL moderation is my favorite moderation by far. Its the only community of people I can swallow since everything else is filled with trolls and memes. Reddit is a forever shithole in my opinion since they use 4chan memes but dont even understand how to use them correctly. Its just that I am obligated to say that my personal experience is shoot first ask later. Though hell Ill take asking later to not asking at all. | ||
