On that note, What do TL do with users who abuse the report button (report people who are disagreeing with the user, reporting everyone, bad judgement etc)? Case by case? I do believe that I'm fair at least but I don't want to risk a ban for asking a mod to take a look at a post >_> + Show Spoiler +You lose the report button if you abuse it and depending on the severity (I.E. exactly how irritating you were) you may be temp'd. It's extremely rare however and I sincerely doubt tonight you're in any risk.
It's more like- hurr report every post on the front page for no reason.
Anyway I"m glad I logged out and played a few games instead of reading anything. I'm more glad I stayed far, far away from the LR threads during the games.
One small comment though- I'm a passionate Nestea fan. He's my favorite player above and beyond any other player in any game. He's a zerg hero to me.
Do you see me raging and acting like a whiny asshole? The question was purely theoretical I've not run wild lol Maybe I should have put the second part of that post in the "Ask TL thread" instead.
Calling me a "tattle tale" for reporting people who are breaking the rules is a bit harsh I think. Just because I tried to read the LR (and fan clubs) after the finals doesn't mean I went on some sort of troll hunt >_>

(what are you like some kind of tattle tale?) I have been here for like 6 years and I have like reported 1 person ever. I guess I'm lame for liking to help mods report people then........ -___-

If you're just going to split the pot anyway then it doesn't matter who wins so you would probably just both try your best to win.
If it was a pool play game to help a teammate get through to a next round then these accusations might make sense but in this case I don't see any reason to throw it even if they were splitting the pot. This is just the reality of late, late game ZvT these days.

I'm feeling the AbL will reach 1000 on Tuesday.

nah im betting Thursday at the earliest

I'm just going to say this now, it would be a fucking honor to be banned by Manifesto or Kennigit for the 1000th page of ABL.

It'll all depend on how much QQ occurs in the LR threads. We could see it happen overnight if Idra lost to a mega rax allin for instance XD

We just need some "bad" code S terran like Virus or Ensnare to win against nestea with lost of ghosts and snipes, now that would cause some real QQ.

Lol touche.
I imagine the poor mods would be putting ice packs on their wrists and bandages on their fingers if something like that actually happened.

I don't think it would take a "bad" code S terran to instill that, sadly.
On a side note, Virus probably needs to get together with Polt and Hongun and form the underappreciated and underrated players club or something. He almost took out Nestea and managed to quietly make it out of group stages 3/4 times after making code S.
Sigh.

Yeah, the effect would be perfect if Ensnare did it though, because he's not even recognized as underrated by most, tastosis kind of disregard him, and the Code S preview articles etc where they once said he was "bad at starcraft" don't help ^^ I don't think he's very distinguished in terms of skill myself, but nonetheless he's Code S ^^ People would go absolutely ape shit if he won vs. nestea with ghosts.

I think an interesting idea would be to split pot only before the last ace match of a series (if they get there). Because it would suck to agree and then 3-0 your opponent. So the players could decide when they are 2-2 with each other or something, when they truly know the last match is anyone's game.

I suppose he did derail it pretty badly. It seems his persistence has been "rewarded".

At the rate it's going up, I think that Wednesday is a safer bet. 3 pages a day is going to be on 999 by Tuesday, so it'll probably be at 12ish EST.

Because in a major tournament, especially when there is gambling involved (and I'm pretty sure there are places where you can bet on GSL / Blizzcon finals), it's not just some friends agreeing on not playing seriously, it's match fixing. Which is a crime. People go to jail for that. And therefore, you shouldn't just accuse people of it when your only evidence is the fact that somebody didn't play as well as he usually does.
Edit to be clear: I might have misunderstood you, agreeing on splitting the pot regardless of who's winning is fine, but tons of people were accusing Nestea throwing the game to make sure the previously determined result occured.

I have no problem with split pot, though I would prefer if instead of just evenly splitting the pot they would just make it a more even split so one guys not getting like 10% of what the other guy is based on one lucky game, because a lot of tournaments want to brag about massive first place prizes, but to get there they take away from the other players' prizes and cause some really bad distribution of prize money.

It takes all sorts to make the world go 'round kid. I shoot from the hip, sorry that doesn't meet your criteria for a poster. Maybe if you weren't in a dreadfully tiny minority of people who were born this century and don't know how to use a website you have to refresh once in a while, this wouldn't be an issue. You sound incredibly ungrateful for not being much of a contributor. User was temp banned for this post.
If your looking for a ban just type in their username then search for banned you can generally find the post easily enough just doing that.
