To be fair, the mods acknowledge that the SCII forums are... uh... Hmm. Well, I'll be diplomatic and say they are currently suboptimal in comparison to TeamLiquid's standards of posting. Of course, the mods are working diligently to remedy that, and we all love them for it. However, I would not disagree with Kinetik here; the SCII forums really are fairly bad at the moment. They've DRASTICALLY improved since zatic's ultimatum (and Saracen's followup on it), and it's getting better every day, but I would argue that compared to the Brood War section, the SCII area leaves quite a bit to be desired. Yeah, Kinetik might be laying it on a tad harshly, but I agree with his core sentiment, that the state of the forums now are not what they could (and should!) be. I also don't think that you bringing up his registration date and calling him out on his relatively recent registration here is a good idea either, Ichabod. I mean, I was part of the SCII beta influx, and although a lot of that influx was trash, I would (immodestly) say I turned out fairly well as a poster, despite the majority of users from that period being pretty bad! Don't denigrate new users solely on the premise of their "new-user" status. It does people like me, Torte de Lini, and other fine gentlemen a disservice. :D | ||
