This means big savings for JVC fans like me who recoil at the idea of spending 600 bucks a pop for a new lamp. I would never do that, I'd rather pay more up front and not worry about daily usage at all. Psychologically it might amount to the same price overall but lasers also keep their brightness more constant over time. Expensive lamps would make one feel pressured to not use their new toy, if you get my meaning. Xdaunt could had simply written the exact same argument, but without being over the top aggressive and dismissive of JimmiC opinions. He didn't need to write "And I really don't care about your international perspective on American politics." "That people do in Canada, Denmark, or Saudi Arabia has no direct relation to American policy preferences" by itself would had been enough and strengthen his own argument. He doesn't need to try to personally demean JimmiC. And Xdaunt got to stop posting opnions as fact of the matter. That said, the post itself is kinda mild for xdaunt. xdaunt should be banned, but not for that post specifically. | ||
