Also, there's a difference between telling someone he "sounds/acts like a twat" and that "he is a twat"... everyone acts twatty sometimes, but calling someone a twat removes that temporary aspect and just leaves you with a personal insult. for comparison: "you're being an overgrown twat right now." "you're an overgrown twat." There's a vast difference. The first one can be seen as (albeit not very constructive) criticism, because it implies that if the addressee changes their current behaviour, it will result in a reduction of their twat-factor. The 2nd however does not imply that. :D | ||
