This thread is for discussing recent bans. Don't discuss other topics here.

Take it to website feedback if you disagree with a ban or want to raise an issue.

Keep it civil.

NOTE: For those of you who want to find the actual ABL thread where the bans are posted. Please look in here: https://tl.net/forum/closed-threads/

You think Farage's debate coaching made a difference in this one?

Farage has never been in a serious debate. He's not a politician in the UK. He's like Gary Johnson.

Eh, Gary Johnson was a former governor.

True. Whereas Farage has never won a seat in the Houses of Parliament.

What exactly has he even done? I was under the impression he did a lot to get Brexit to pass

Yes, he campaigned for decades against his own job that Kwark thinks is less meaningful than the home parliament.

That I think? I'm not the only one who thinks MEPs are less important than MPs to British politics. I know it's not your country so you don't know how stupid you sound when you imply otherwise but you sound pretty fucking stupid.

The Republican party's color runs proudly all over your face right now, doesn't it, you overgrown twat? I never intimated that only our proud Kwark felt that way - I'm saying you don't see the irony of shitting all over Farage when he specifically fought against his own superfluous position in the European parliament, that I happen to agree with you is of scant prestige and with him ought not to exist.

US Politics thread will continue to claim victims. I would like to say that this will all end after the elections finally conclude in November but... Alas, we do not live in such a simple world...

Yeah, it was no doubt Kwark that started the ad hominem in that exchange. The oblade took it to the next level, but Kwark definitely fired first.

Apart from colonising NA, most of Africa, India, Australia and part of south America? Not really as far as I know.

We could go after the accent otherwise. Keep using the word "quite"and all that? Maybe the rainy climate? Their tendency to think that their football team is good when it in fact sucks just as much as always? Their tendency for understatements?
