You can't really think that a personalized insult is less impactful than dumb, vague, racist nonsense. I see no reason why the vaguely stated "dehumanizing element" affects the guy who was personally insulted less. I promise there are plenty of other ways and to "dehumanize" people for their differences. Protection should be equal for all people anyway, right?
