If you hang out in the same chats for long enough, you'll often make deep friendships. Make sure to take advantage of the time you have with any friends you do make in twitch chat. Treat every stream as if it were the last stream you'll ever see them in. Because you never know when it might be. Recently, a friend of mine who I met in a twitch chat and had been watching streams with for 3 years suddenly went MIA with no explanation whatsoever. We don't have any information about where she may be, which makes it worse. If a friend you know in a twitch chat (or heck, someone you know on TL or any forum even) gets killed in a car crash or something, you'll never know about it. They probably won't have told any of their family members about their forum/twitch accounts, so nobody will bother to inform all their online friends. And even if their will-executor did know about any online friends, many people are mistrusting of people on the internet. So everyone, right now, go send a nice, heartfelt PM to a good friend you met on TL, or twitch, or any forum. It could be the last time you ever talk to them. | ||

That's true enough for small chats, where there are a few hundred users. I remember hanging out in Crank's stream chat way back, before TB sent him to MLG and it was great.
