Apparently mentioning ANYTHING book related in that thread is warrant enough for banning no matter how vague it is. Which I guess is fair considering the way the rules are written. Doesn't mean I can't have reason enough to complain about the logic behind it. | ||

It's a ban so we get to discuss it but you can't use this thread to complain about it :p Don't click if you are spoiler sensitive + Show Spoiler + This is the un-nuked post: They did that scene beautifully, everything was done perfectly from the book all the way down to the gruesome "crunch." Good night sweet prince. Pretty clearly mentions the book and how the show relates to the book. Given how many people try to post vague spoilers in the thread and the rules of the thread it's pretty clear the ban is justified. | ||

It says explicitly in the mod-note that the thread is for people that are all caught up in the show. Unless he was discussing something that hadn't happened in the show yet, it doesn't seem ban-worthy. I guess it's sort of borderline if you guys are just going to ban anyone that says anything about the books, but even then he waited until after the episode aired and then just discussed how the scene was well done and accurate to the books. I don't really see how this could be a spoiler for anyone, except maybe people that aren't current yet (shouldn't be reading the thread then, see mod note) or people that plan on reading the books (shouldn't be watching the show then...?). Whatever though, it was a 2-day temp ban. Pretty minor tbh. Edit: Spoiler'd for the show watchers  | ||

Talking about the books in any way is now strictly forbidden in that thread even if you're not spoiling anything. Which means that all of the gloating book readers were doing after Season 3 about the reactions of the show watchers would get us all banned if we did that now. | ||

Well... the thread would become pretty pointless if MajOr got banned, and banning TB would give the impression that TL is siding with MajOr, and TL is trying to be neutral in the issue.
