Regarding FiWiKaKi, I felt bad since I knew he was joking but TL has a zero-tolerance policy on anything of that sort, regardless of intention behind it. There have been many times people have gotten off with a warning though, couldn't this have been one of those occasions...

I gave it more time than I should've considering I have a final tomorrow, but I suppose it was an odd situation and making the perfect call on it isn't easy. From the admin side, it makes sense why to make it a rule, otherwise you might have conflict with other members when they get banned for it. And obviously mods aren't at fault since it does state it's not allowed in the 10 Commandments. From my side of things, most things on teamliquid are handled on a case by case basis, and circumstantially exceptions are made based on logic and reason, and felt that should be handled the same way. Also it's a good way to piss off and alienate your members that aren't really posting harmful content, and are otherwise good contributing posters that have been around for many years. Either way, it is well noted that I (and everyone else), should refrain from doing it, as then those grey area situation would be rarer in occurrence and mods wouldn't have to debate whether this ban is warranted or not. I'm glad that everyone I discussed it with was relatively reasonable and showed some sympathy for my situation, gave me some more confidence in staff and the members, especially Nazgul and ETT (He's a funny guy - Oh and Happy Birthday man!). And IgnE, I don't really know what beef you have with me, but in that thread you asked me a question that I didn't think was too relevant, but I still tried to reply to it to the best of my ability. You called me out on my reply in an unfriendly manner, and then I simply said this discussion (creationism + LGBT rights) isn't the topic for it. Then the moment I made my Nickelback comment you came to essentially tattle on me in this thread, and then later just reply in the thread "Rules are rules". If you have a problem with something I am doing, do share, because I don't think I've ever made an offensive remark to you, or anything that would justify that kind of attitude. I want to clear up any hate or whatever you have towards me. Thanks.

Anyway im salty about you gettin unbanned. I had a similar situation in which the mods joined in with the jest only to get banhammered later. #equalopportunities

I can remove it if you want though T_T.
