Lolwut? TL's mods and admins do a pretty spiffy job of cracking down on anything even slightly "transphobic" or "sexist," in my opinion. Just look at xDaunt.

Requesting perm account ban. zaqwe has been banned before for it. dont get your panties in a twist. What is he talking about? That shit is moderated pretty harshly. Even to the point of jumping the gun, where you can't even talk about certain things that are relevant, because *certain esports agenda*

That's got to be the most retarded martyr I've ever seen. Well done man. Way to be hyper sensitive, and wrong.

User was banned for this post. Utter nonsense. It is aggressively moderated and if you think something has been missed or overlooked then you can help the process by informing a moderator via PM or making a website feedback topic. I'm disappointed in you for caring so little about the issue that you would rather feel there is a problem and condemn people to suffer because of it than actually try and fix it. There are systems in place for you to use but teamliquid is not about to disappear or be replaced because you stopped posting here, if you believe there is an issue then speak up rather than ineffectually voting with your feet.

Not quite what I was hoping for, no offense to incontrol. Technicalities being what they are, I am proven wrong. Perhaps Eve could make a splash by being the first female to win a broadcast game (I assume flo vs incontrol wouldn't have been broadcast). Which I'm fine with but I think we all know we will never see her win a major tounament. Best of luck to her though. She doesn't need to win a tournament to be competitive. If she can even get enough skill to take a game off a top male progamer it will be a huge breakthrough for female progamers in sc2. I remember seeing Tossgirl win a match once in BW. It would be nice to see a female win even once in sc2. Her game against Sniper was by far the worst display of skill in GSL history and was insulting to the viewers tbh. I thought it was cute. But maybe she is better with protoss. I don't expec AZUBU to field her at all if she isn't, but if she can even get good enough to snipe one match for them in GSTL it would be impressive. It would be nice to see a female win even once in sc2. Scarlett already owns top male progamers, it's not like Eve would be the first. You will be disappointed to learn that Scarlett is transgender (biologically male). I am unaware of any female who has taken a single professional match off a male in SC2. Eve would indeed be the first to my knowledge, if she ever accomplishes that. The level of density in your post is staggering. It wasn't cute, it was a waste of time. And claiming Scarlett is "technically" male is a fucking joke. She's easily the best female player I can think of off hand (significantly above Flo, Eve, Aphro). Edit: Sorry for one post after another; just noticed this after post and formatting meh. I am not sure why you put "technically" in quotes. I never used that word. Scarlett is a biologically male transgender. Scarlett is very good, but is not biologically female. Let's not diminish any future achievements from women by comparing them to someone who is biologically/genetically male. It would be huge if Eve can really compete in leagues like GSTL and win games for her team. Scarlett would also win an arm wrestling match against Eve, but it would be no indication that Eve is weak by female standards. Take your transphobia and ignorance elsewhere, please. tbh I don't find what Zaqwe said to be transphobic nor ignorant (this time)... everything he says is true, maybe pointless but still true. silly thing to get yourself permed over someone else saying something like it posts are in the Eve joins AZUBU thread It's a stupid distinction to make. There are significant numbers (0.1-2%) of men who are born with XXY chromosomes and never find out about it because they don't check. Getting really caught up in the specific biological things just shows ignorance of how messy and blurry those can be.

Uh oh, do I feel a Zaqwe ban on the horizon?

Reading this makes me very sad because I read his last few comments and completely agreed with him. The report system on this site works (as KwarK details), ignorance will not disappear with a backspace key, it is a long process but surely understanding will come out on top.
I hope he changes his mind and comes back.

doubt he'll come back if he's that sensitive.
the thread got even more amusing. instead of people posting that scarlett is transgender/a man, they posted a screenshot of eve saying that scarlett is a man.

Without getting any more off topic in the ban thread, that just makes me very sad.

Mmmm, I'm sensing more ban bait in that thread. Bandwagon effect going on...

People like this really make it difficult for my ultra-secret* shadowy movement created for the sole purpose of complaining that these things are moderated too much! Couple more and we may have to close down.
Or this guy is actually KwarK messing with everyone's heads.
+ Show Spoiler +*the movement is so secret, that even its members have no idea about it. but you know, who am I talking about.

Well if a civil, non-aggressive post with at least a modicum of thought put into it with regards to said issue is all it takes for someone like you to be "pushed over the edge" then I think the problem is you and you've done well to leave before you started some childish flaming simply because Zaqwe is of a different opinion.

RecognizableName was just banned by Empyrean.
That account was created on 2012-10-24 13:39:00 and had 17 posts.
Reason: Previously banned user. I just learned yesterday who this is, who ratted him out? Also this makes sense now:
