Lag = fps drops too if you mean that. And HD4000= low fps = lag = stutter = whatever you want to call it

Frankly i get better advice from a Google search than from what i read in there ( at times). There are some people who know their stuff but too man who don't. Purge it with fire!

I honestly agree with the assessment to a certain extent, though it's gotten quite a lot better the last few days in terms of people just posting wildly off topic. I've enjoyed the conversation in here quite a lot more during the times that it's kept to the actual topic of discussing bans.
Like I wrote in my initial question, this is the TL subcommunity where I feel the most at home. I really like the regulars in here for the most part, and I enjoy the discussions that take place when they don't stray too far into completely off-topic absurdism. I'd hate to see the thread descend permanently into an off-topic backwater that earns the kind of disregard it's already getting from some TL veterans. At the same time, it seems clear that none of the mods is terribly interested in policing this thread to enforce the on-topic rule.
My conclusion: We need to exert a bit more self-discipline and police ourselves better.
My second conclusion: As a grown man, I should probably give less weight to what people with fancier icons than mine write about one of the internet forum threads I frequent in one of the other forum threads I frequent. But TL feels like family, the threads I hang out in doubly so.
