On Teamliquid, there are only a select few who have earned themselves a forum star. The star represents outstanding contributions to the community over a long period of time, contributions that in many cases add to both the quality and the feeling of community on the site. To put this honor in context, other forum star holders include Dakota Fanning (the developer of SC2 Gears/SCElight), Seeker (over 1000 translations for TL) and FuDDx (many years of quality blogs and balloons!). Pandemona is easily of Teamliquid's top contributors. While the mouse-over may say ”Quality poster”, it doesn't accurately reflect the amount of work Pandemona has put into creating and sustaining dozens, if not hundreds, of threads on TL. As if being one of the most frequent contributors to the SC2 Tourneys section wasn't enough, we have reached a point where Pandemona runs every football thread on TL. To give you some perspective on his contributions:
He ran all of the World Cup forum essentially by himself, creating and maintaining each of the fourteen live report threads and writing two in-depth previews for the tournament. If you have been with us since 2012, you would know that he actually did this for EURO 2012 as well. On top of this he maintains the full-year football threads, ensuring that you need not ever be without your fill of football talk.
With this in mind, it wouldn't be unfair to say that Pandemona is football on TL. We often talk about passion in a tongue-in-cheek manner, but you would be hard pressed to find a member more passionate and dedicated to his sport than Panda.
Today, we recognize Pandemona's untiring efforts with a forum star. Thank you for everything you've done and continue to do for both football and SC2 on TL!
So please, a round of applause for Pandemona!
