I once picked the game Starcraft on a whim because I liked Warcraft and this was by the same company. Got into that, eventually discovered that people played this super seriously in a land far far away and got into watching professional Starcraft. Lurked on TL for years, eventually created an account because I enjoyed the LR threads a lot.
Eventually SC2 is released and initially I'm fairly hyped. I post a lot in the LR threads but SC2 just... doesn't feel right. The LR threads are also super toxic and I can't stand them. I gave up on SC2 and just kinda tuned in every now and then into the GSL and ProLeague. One day I find League of Legends and I get really into that. From this I eventually become part of the original LoL Staff on TL, which is I guess how I'm around today.
I was also into Pokemon and started learning about the competitive scene around GSC and have continued to follow it ever since. I also find excuses to post Pokemon gifs in staff forums. Probably one of my favourite games ever. Possibly biggest Pokemon nerd on staff too?

My esports background is entirely starcraft, and entirely online except for one redbull tournament. Besides starcraft, my favorite game at the moment is actually kid chameleon.

To any staff -- what's your background in e-sports, have you ever visited Korea, and what's your favorite game (any genre/console/etc.)? background - got involved with brood war around 2010, then had short stint in dota before switching to CS:GO. Favorite game is still brood war after all these years :D "short stint" makes it sound like you were a progamer
