While we're on the banner, are there still elements of the normal pony banner that come from Jim Warren? Or are you obliged to give him credit for the original even if it's entirely gone?

There are still elements of the old banner in our banner, so yes. The one you see now is temporary.

This is a WoL themed banner for the day/weekend to commemorate SC2's birthday. We tried to work it out in a way that had the horses too but it was pretty ugly and this is what we landed on.

Are you kidding? That marine armour would annihilate the poor horse's spine.
If anything, he'd need to be riding some sort of esports elephant, if such a thing even existed.
