It sounds so easy when you say it, but when you actually try it for yourself you realise it's actually pretty hard and tiresome. It's often thankless. But those people get noticed. I cannot speak on behalf of the other staff on TeamLiquid, but the League of Legends staff was very much organically grown. The very first few staff were people who just happened to like contributing such as setting up LR threads or writing nice analysis or strategy discussions. Then one day some of us decided to make write ups and articles because it felt like the right thing to do. And then people asked to help with setting all of this stuff up and it just went from there. Since then, the LoL staff have done an absolutely great job and I am very grateful for being able to work with them. | ||
