I asked it in the thread for it but I doubt it will be seen or even answered so I'll ask here:
Who is most likely to coach the Unholy Alliance?

Sung Jin Park, formerly a coach and manager for SKT1, has been hired as the new Korean Head Coach for Evil Geniuses, and will work alongside EG's existent General Manager, Cody "evoli" Conners, and Korean Operations Director, Sung Hwan "Hwanni" Kim, in developing and preparing the team for Proleague and other major teamleagues and tournaments. http://proleague.evilgeniuses.net/

Clearly he already knew that icon is based on post count [and/or join date], or he wouldn't have asked. But I don't care enough to argue further. ... CSheep, do you have plans to make a blog on some of your fave classical music? I'd be interested in such a blog, as I'm curious about some of your specific favorites (works, composers, maybe artists/conductors) and why
I've had nebulous plans of classical music blog(s) for some time now, haven't really had a chance to work them out. So they might come...at some point ;o
favorite composers: beethoven, schubert conductors: mravinsky, wand, tennstedt for top 3? something like that...

Ah okay, cool ^^
Hmm interesting. Yeah, I'd definitely be interested in that kind of a blog. Always looking to find out more about the people here, always curious about what everyone does, where they are, cool interests--stuff like that I'm sure there will be lots of other classical music lovers coming out of the woodwork if/when you do get around to it. Cheers! And yeah, Beethoven is the man :o I've always thought Barenboim was great as well on Beethoven, especially because of his personal proficiency with the piano and whatnot.

How does one become a banling? I'm sure it's a fairly sought after job and I wonder how people become them. I'm sure this is fairly asked about also. I guess instead of the normal answers, I guess I'm wondering what the normal path people have before they become banlings.

There is no specific process that I am aware of. If you do a good job reporting posts and seem like you have the right personality you might be asked if you want to become a banling.
The first wave of banlings was different as there wasn't a reporting system up then.

Maybe, but the report system had been up for quite some time when I was asked and I had all of 2 reports to my name.

More recently, I've noticed that banling recruitment has been more focused on specific forums. Take the last 3 banlings recruited. I was mainly recruited for SC2 strategy. Mig, although he's been a liquidpoker mod, was recruited mostly as a result of the switch to Dota 2. Kadaver spends most of his time in LR threads, so you could call him the LR or tournament banling. The only other banling that has a domain would probably be Kwark, who focuses on General. There's about 40 public forums, so I guess 36 more banling positions left open!

And now that GMarshal is on hiatus/recovery, all 59 of those positions are open

I thought "Not asking such question is a good start." was a classic answer given everywhere.
My question: This may have been asked many times before, but can a person register with a name that existed before but not any more? For example, if I get perm banned or quit TL in future, is "Orek" still unique to me and no one else can use even then? If so, I find it really bizarre that this guy joined TL only 2 months ago. (How come it was not taken ages ago?) Also, does that mean that PBUs are consuming our precious naming possibilities when they come back? It would be really annoying if PBUs come back with somewhat popular names just to annoy TL even further.

The TL staff really should implement another flying-monkeys equivalent for the 'how do I become banling' question.

I don't think monk's post is 100% accurate. It is true that mig was most active in Dota2 but he handles a ton of reports from all forums. Kadaver wasn't brought on specifically for any forum either.

Not officially, although I am one of the staff who tends to read that section more.
